Things are going good! Four days post op!
I've been feeling really bloated in my tummy. Has anyone experienced this? I really feel like I just gave birth. I read that the swelling in my breasts move down with gravity and will travel to my belly/ legs. My breasts are feeling less and less sore. I have feeling on the right nipple but not the left. I am hoping that I'll get some feelings back within the weeks to come. My back has been feeling stiff but I just read my discharge papers and I should be doing some light shoulder and arm exercises. I am satisfied with my new boobies! I'm sure I'll be even more satisfied once they drop.

One day post op!
Hi ladies! My surgery went well. The doctor said he removed two pounds of dense tissue from each breast. I am on oxycodone but I've only taken it about twice. I feel like my pain can b managed by something less stronger. Honestly I'm not really in pain, just very sore. I also feel super bloated/gasy and because of that I have not had much to eat. I have been drinking lots of water though. The gas pains are more uncomfortable than my soreness. Tomorrow makes 48 hours post op for me and I'll be able to remove my bandages. I am so excited yet so nervous to reveal what's underneath. I will be posting pictures tomorrow. Talk to you all soon!

My surgery is a little over a week away and I am so nervous. This journey has been such a long and slow process. I've been trying to have my breast reduced since January of 2015. As of April 19th 2016 I have been approved. Thank goodness! I hope to come out of this as a C cup at least. I just want some relief lol.

What type of insurance do u have
I have martins point. My husband is in the army. It's been so difficult with them and finding doctors
Wishing you all the best!
Thank you! I can't wait to see my torso! Lol
I just had mine done 6 days ago and I too was nervous. But now I'm so happy with my itty bitty's...very little pain from surgery. From a 34gg to a 34c. Enjoy your new self!
Thanks a lot. Do you mind if I ask a few questions about the surgery?
I don't mind at all.
I was wondering about how long was your surgery? How did they put you to sleep? Did your breast appear lumpy afterwards? How'd you feel after surgery? Some photos posted on here post that left me a little discouraged. I'm sorry for all of the questions lol
Good Morning!! My surgery was 2.5 hours. They used a general anesthetic. I was excited and it was painless...I just went to sleep. When I woke up they gave me a bit of pain medication (o.4 mg hydro-morph, I have severe allergies to other medications). Then I sat up on the side of the bed... I was so happy...I noticed the difference immediately!! I commented "Oh, they are so little!" I left the hospital with my husband 2 hours after surgery. I have to say, I was expecting more pain than I experienced. I only took plain Tylenol in the morning and at bed time for the first 3 days. Today is day 8 and I'm feeling a bit bruised in the mornings. I am 49 yrs old, 6 children, breast fed for 11 years. I was booked for this surgery 6 years ago, but I was too nervous so I cancelled it. I wish I had done it then but I'm so happy I've done it now. My new breasts are not lumpy, I'm still very bruised looking, and swollen but I am so happy with standing straight, sitting straight and no neck or shoulder pain. My 32 year old daughter just had the same surgery 2 days ago. Don't be discouraged sweetie!!!! You will be so happy and your health will improve drastically! Enjoy the experience... NO FEAR!
Thank you soooo much for answering my questions and providing me with encouraging words and positivity. I feel as if I've had breasts since I have been born lol. I've always been a DD. Yes they were big but wasn't too horrible. After my first I was an h cup and I went back to a DD. My twins just turned two on Monday and I've been a DDD/E cup since. I'm 155 pounds and I feel so disproportionate. I hurt so bad. I've never experienced this before until after the twins. I will keep you posted after surgery. It's scheduled to begin at 8am. Again I thank you for your words.
Enjoy the whole experience!!! Ask questions. Joke around. Be happy to be there!!!!! Talk soon! (()) Here's a hug for you!!
Good luck to you! Don't be worried or stressed. I am a little over 2 weeks post and confidence is through the roof. You will be so glad you did it.
I believe you. I'm ready to go out and show some side boob
Lol! How are you feeling?? Any pain? Sorry I hit send too soon
All the very very best. I hope it all goes well. I am two years post op, and it is the best thing I have ever done. It is a bumpy rod but focus on the fact that it gets better every day any one day you will forget the discomfort and see what you have achieved!!
What makes it a bumpy road if you don't mind me asking? Thank you for your kind words by the way. I appreciate it.
