Sylfirm X - Treatment 1

I have booked a course of 3 treatments, one every four weeks. I have struggled with rosacea on and off since 2015. I'm 45 from the UK. The treatment was recommended to me instead of IPL, which I used to remove broken capillaries. I have a lot of underlying redness, and I was told the Sylfirm X would be a much better option to reduce the redness significantly and possibly even completely.

I have a very low pain threshold. So I sat with a numbing cream for almost an hour. The stinging was uncomfortable but not unbearable. It was the most uncomfortable toward the end of the treatment.

I went into it without expecting any major results and certainly not fast results. My face was very read afterwards and it was swollen in the evening before going to bed. I thought the redness would take two or three days to diminish but I woke up today with no redness and hardly any swelling left.

I was busy so it was only in the afternoon when I had a proper look in the mirror and I could not believe how different my skin looked already! It's tighter, especially around the jawline. It's brighter, smoother and more plump with a bit of glow.

I have not used (as recommended) any toner, not even water, to wash my face after my treatment. Today, I washed it with water very gently and used Centella Asiatica toner. I felt some itching throughout the day, but it is minimal. I don't know what setting was used, but I can ask next time. I will write an update next month. So far so good.
