Worst Experience of my Life

I had the worst experience of my life. I always wanted to get a rhinoplasty because I was so self-conscious about my appearance but after the surgery, I have never been more self-conscious and mortified by how I look.

After searching long and hard for the right surgeon, when I met Dr Hunt, he convinced me that he was the right person for the procedure. He was so caring and seemed to really have my best interest at heart. Although he knew I was a student and that the procedure was quite expensive, he was very persuasive that he could achieve the look that I wanted. What I did get on the other hand, was $14,000 out of my pocket for damaged nerves on my face and permanent peralisys of my top lip. He was quick to take my money and never contacted me again, not even for a follow-up appointment. I had to call myself to see whether or not he had answers for the damage to the nerves he caused to my face.

Since the surgery, he has not bothered to contact me. Not only have my nerves been damaged but I am emotionally scarred that I have to deal with a “dead lip” for the rest of my life. I would never recommend Dr Jeremy Hunt for any procedure simply based on his negligence and mistreatment of his patients.

I hope he realises one day that it’s not only about taking people’s money, but that he has a duty of care.
