Still love it! :)

8 weeks post

Time seems to be flying. Now at 8 weeks! Everything seems to be going well. Had a slight irregularity in swelling on the bridge but that seems to be going down now. I am glad I no longer need to be taping anymore, it was getting to be a bit of an annoyance. The final result seems to be turning out even better than the predicted pictures. There is still swelling in the tip, and probably will be that way for some time to go yet. This will probably be my last post as there isn't really anything much exciting after this point/any major changes. If there is one thing I can say it is that the experience has been 100% worth it. I find that I can breathe better than ever and I a lot more confident with the new look. If there is any advice I could give to anyone reading, it is to make sure you are confident with your doctor. My surgeon has been fantastic and I am super pleased I chose to go with him. I wouldn't worry about cost when it comes to this procedure, go with the doctor who is most skilled, as you only want to go through the process once. I will still hang around in case you wish to ask questions or for photos through PM, and to anyone considering this; good luck and I wish you the best.

4 weeks

4 Weeks down. Time seems to go so quickly! I love love love it already. There are some irregularities, but I won't worry about those until the 12 months, as they may sort themselves out and I'm sure the doc will say something next visit if they are concerns. Not really much to add. Most of the noteworthy events happen within the two weeks after surgery. Life is back to normal once again. Surprising how little people notice these changes which seem so drastic to ourselves.
