Hey how is the nose?? I have my appt with dr shahidi tomorrow. Im scared he'll figure out I haven't been rinsing it four times a day hahaha I just hate that bottle thing and all the packing is gone. What did he say about your swelling?
Hi! Happy with my nose.. Even with the swelling it's still smaller than what it was.. He said it's still very swollen! That is soo annoying. And advised me to tape it twice every night. He showed me how. He also had a look up there and said my stitches haven't dissolved yet and I still have a lot of muck up there. He said to keep washing. Im soo over washing my nose! i started taking bromelain last week and I think it's helping. It's an extract from pineapple which is supposed to help with swelling. How are you going? Swelling getting better?
Yeah swelling is a [RS bleep]! In the last week the swelling on my bridge has gone! I can pinch the skin and fully feel the bone and its really cute and petite. Half way down the bridge to the tip is a different story! Still very swollen its so annoying I wish it would just heal! I still wont be in any photos because it looks so big in them. Other than that really happy and can see he's done a great job. Soo happy I picked him! Glad to hear u r doing well!! X
how did your consult go? did he say you have to clean your nose still.. If I don't clean it out regularly I get a really stuffy nose. Cant wait til its all clear :) My girlfriend commented yesterday that it looks very natural and smaller than it was. He's really good!!
It went really well I was there for about 7 minutes all up! He said it's all clear up there but to still rinse it once a day. But I had that bleed after 1.5 weeks of surgery and got an entire nostril worth of packing sucked out so that would have helped! He said there's still a lot of swelling in the tip but has completely dissipated up the top, that literally happened overnight one day it was swollen and the next i could feel the bone right under my skin. Yeah it's so good to hear what other people think because we look at it all day and sometimes you need a more objective view!! He told me to massage it softly as much as I can so i've been doing that, but it's a bit sore now from all the rubbing!

Feeling happier with my results!

It's been 3.5 weeks and what an emotional rollercoaster! Today did a collage of my progress and old nose. Finally I can see a significant improvement. I bumped my nose on saturday and need to wait til Tuesday to speak to dr as its a long weekend. That was quite stressful but now resigned to the fact that my worrying wont change a thing! I'm not on pain so I guess that can be a good sign.

I bumped my nose today! - has anyone had the same thing happen and all was well in the end?

I reached to get my daughter a kiss and she came forward and bumped my nose. She bumped the middle it felt like cartilage being bumped. It has been throbbing and am really worried ill need revision surgery. My nose is quite swollen so I can't see if the bump has affected anything. I'm only 3 weeks postop:(

Hi, i have bumped my nose aswell when kissing, it did get sore at times but i usually massage my nose the way my doctor has showed me, it helps alot. Your nose looks great xoxo
Oh I felt so sad when I felt my nose throbbing after the hit. I really hope it doesn't affect the final result. I have to call my doctor on Tuesday to let him know as its a long weekend.. What did your doctor say about your hit to the nose? Did he assess it? Happy healing!
