Lower Face Lift and Necklift with Liposuction - Sydney, AU

Its three months today since my op so I thought I would post a couple of photos.
I seem to have lost a bit of the tightness I had at first which is a bit disappointing. I would like my neck to be a bit tighter and my jowls to be smoother. However, when I look at my before and after I can see I look much better. My doctor goes for a natural look as opposed to a 'pulled' look. I think he could have gone a bit tighter personally :). I still have numbness around my chin and upper neck and ears. It can take a long time for the nerves to heal apparently. It feel strange at times when I touch that area but the feeling seems to be coming back little by little.
Under my chin is still very numb and lumpy and the scar is quite tight. The doctor told me its the scar tissue healing and will eventually smooth out.
I hope my posts have been helpful to anyone thinking of doing the same. Its a big deal. Be prepared for months of healing. The scars and bruises heal quickly but the feeling of tightness and numbness stay for a long time. I can't stress how important it is to go to a qualified plastic surgeon. Ask lots of questions and don't expect miracles, just a 'better' outcome.

I am almost fully healed now. I still have some numbness around my chin and upper neck but the feeling is slowly coming back. Apparently it can take some time. I also have tightness all around my neck and and chin, sometimes it feels like I'm pulling on it but otherwise everything is totally fine. I am really happy with the results. Its not too noticeable, in fact no one has noticed! But I do, when I look in the mirror I no longer hate my face. I am enjoying wearing summer clothes with low necklines and my confidence around people has soared. I think that is the best thing that has come from all of this, that I feel confident again when speaking to people.
I have to say, this was a huge operation to have. I had no idea how big a deal it was. When I think of all the tiny muscles and nerves in our faces, I realise so much could have gone wrong. I am so glad I went to a qualified plastic surgeon who knew what he was doing and was there for anything at any time. I can't rate Dr Ho highly enough. He is an amazing man. Even though I would have like to be a bit tighter, I think he has made me look normal. My face looks uniform and natural which is the best outcome I could hope for.
Good luck to anyone thinking of having this done. I totally have found it worth every penny.

I no longer have to wear the hat and the swelling and bruising have subsided. I still feel quite tight around my neck and chin and I have no feeling around my chin. Its still uncomfortable when I'm trying to sleep and have really choose my position carefully, but its ok. I am aware of the tightness all the time, it sort of feels like I have swollen glands but its not bad. I saw the doctor on Monday and he said I should continue to see results over the coming weeks as my muscles continue to tighten. I have been out and about with no makeup now, the bruises have all but disappeared. My scars are also quite small and I am applying silicon gel over them everyday.
I have been working solidly for the last few days with late nights and am quite exhausted, so I'm not feeling really fresh at the moment. However, I took some pics just now for this update. I still look a little jowly in these, but I don't seem to notice when I look in the mirror. I think my camera is a bit unflattering actually.
