I was saving for this for a long time and asking...

WORTH IT

I was saving for this for a long time and asking others in the industry and Dr Nettle's name was continually mentioned. Even my dentist knew of him. I truly believe I look 10 years younger and I wish I'd had this done sooner. Swelling but no pain and awkward washing hair. The excellent result is evident; please refer to photos.

Excellent result Ozziegal. Glad to hear you had no pain. I'm in our Capital (groan) & am looking at either Sydney or Melbourne surgeons. Nettle himself looks amazing. I also like the work of Howard Webser so we shall see. Thanks for sharing.
Good luck with everything. Yes it is a scary decision. I don't know anything about the doctors in Melbourne. There is one thing that you could ask them that Dr Nettle does that I think not everyone does. Dr Nettle creates what could be described as a sling under the chin which makes it look better and lasts a lot longer. I can't find a picture of it on the internet but I feel this gives a better and longer lasting effect. It's different to the attaching of the cheek muscle near to the upper part of the ear I think most of the doctors do some liposuction under the chin. Good luck Dragonfly.

Was this a complete lower face lift or just the neck? The results look fantastic.
I'm nearly ready to have the same thing done... and my GP has recommended Dr Nettle.
It was a complete lower facelift i.e everything except the forehead. Also had fat grafting. Fat taken from the knee and put into the temples and chin. I'm very happy with everything. Thanks Dovecot

Hi again dovecote you could be reading this for a second time as I was typing away and it disappeared off my screen. Anyway, Dr Nettle $19500 with lower eyelids and fat grafting to the temples and chin, anesthetist $1500, theater fees and over night stay at hospital $6300. My friend had one done last June with another doctor for about half the price but I can't see any difference. I don't tell her that though. Hope this helps. Regards Ozziegal.

yes there are before and after photos, photos numbers 1 & 2 are BEFORE and photo 6 are all BEFORE. AFTER are 3, 4 and 5 this is running left to right. It's a long time for the first consult, about 6 months but after that the whole process is faster.
