Well it's been 8 months since I had a face, neck and brow lift with Dr Nettle. I'm not sure what else I can say except that I am completely thrilled with the result. I understand that people will want to see photos but I also hope they will respect my desire for privacy. I wanted to post a review in case anyone was wondering whether to see Dr Nettle. My advice, for what it's worth, is a resounding yes. This type of surgery is a huge decision and the recovery process is actually quite a long one so you want to know that the results will be worth the effort and financial investment. Warwick is an incredibly skilled surgeon with an artistic eye. My results are so natural and I almost feel like I stepped into a time machine and recovered at least 10 years.
The cost that I have listed is in USD because that is the only option the site gives. It includes all of the hospital fees as well, not solely Dr Nettles fees. I had always known that I would have this type of procedure in my mid Fifties and see it as an investment in my future. This is one investment that has more than paid a return.
I'm happy to answer any questions as I know how stressful it is deciding about this type of surgery.

What was the recovery like? Can you go out in public ? How long do you have to wear support garments. Im looking into a lower face and neck lift and maybe rhinoplasty with this dr.

Hi, sorry it's taken this long to reply but I hadn't checked back in to see if there were questions. I know that recovery is different for everyone so I can only go by my own experience. I had quite a lot of bruising around my neck and that isn't something that's predictable so it's better to imagine it may happen and then you can be delighted if it doesn't. I was back at work after 3 weeks and felt self conscious but no one seemed to notice. It's actually quite amazing how little people really notice about the way you look. I gave myself those 3 weeks so I wouldn't be stressed and I'm glad I did. I didn't have any support garments. Just had to lie flat as much as possible for the first couple of weeks and sleep on my back. For me the milestones were 3 weeks then 3 months, 6 months and I'm looking forward to the first year. I can't stress enough how much I love the results.

Thank you for your post. I am looking for a sydney surgeon for the same procedure, however I also would add upper and lower blethroplasty and laser resurfacing. Just clarifying was the price $18000 US and therefore has to be increased by aprox 25% or did it cost $18000 Australian dollars? You have said a long recovery - how long before you were able to go out in public and feel confident no one would notice bruising, scarring etc. Are your scar lines very noticeable? Hi, it was $23,000 aussie dollars but that includes hospital fees etc. I didn't have anything done on my eyes or skin so not sure my recovery time is a guideline. I did answer a question above though that lets you know a bit more. By long recovery I mean that the improvements keep revealing themselves for all of the first year but I was back at work after 3 weeks. I don't have any visible scars and even my hairdresser didn't notice. Happy to answer anything else. I know it's a big leap but he really is an amazing surgeon.

Thank you so much for your reply, somehow I missed it. Your recovery sounds amazing, and the hair dresser not noticing says a lot. I contacted Dr Nettle's surgery and now think I will take the next step and book an appointment. I'm so scared though. Did you have an endoscopic temporal or full brow lift (did this also help upper eye lids)? Did you have a full face lift (lower and mid)? How long was it from your first appointment to your surgery? Are people noticing a difference? I really apprecitate you taking the time with everyone's questions.

Did you have the op done at Bondi junction private hospital? Could you have imagined not having anyone to pick you up after the morning of your op? I'm thinking of getting a taxi but wonder how much pain I'll be in!

Yes I was at Bondi Junction Private. I wasn't really in a lot of pain but a bit groggy still. If you can get someone to collect you it's better because they can also carry all of your things. I think it's doable by yourself but wouldn't be my preference. I'd be guided by the advice of Dr Nettle for your particular procedure and, if he thinks you'll be OK, I would get an Uber Black because the extra comfort will be worth it.

Hi, I was back at work after 3 weeks but probably didn't catch up with close friends face to face for about 6 weeks. I don't think that is completely necessary but I wanted to feel really confident and comfortable. I think that the longer you can push it the better because you get more comfortable with how you feel. There is a numbness and tightness that takes time to get used to and continues for months and in the early months can make you self conscious. You look fabulous though. I still have some residual numbness and tightness 10 months on but I actually like it now because it reminds me of the change I have made.
I had a neck and lower facelift performed by Dr Nettle late last year and I was also delighted with the results.
