Implant Removal After 9 Weeks

WORTH IT$8,000
I had implants in April 2014, it's something I had wanted to do for about 10 years. I always felt like I had the smallest boobs out of anyone I know and felt self conscious in a bikini or with boyfriends. Like many girls on here I had had insulting comments about my figure too, which stuck with me.
So flash forward to a 30yr old me with money saved for my new assets, I was excited and felt like life would be complete with my new 360cc boobs!
Within 3 days of the surgery I was riddled with anxiety and depression, I hated the way the implants felt inside my body, I was constantly worried something would go wrong with them and I felt completely out of control. Everyone told me I was in shock that I had finally gotten the implants and to give it time. I couldn't imagine keeping the implants inside me for longer than a week but I gave myself 6 weeks to see how I felt. During that time I cried every day, had panic attacks, couldn't eat or sleep and lost about 6kgs. I felt like I was losing the plot. I saw a therapist for 3 weeks and she agreed that I was of sound mind and just really didn't want the implants inside my body.
So I went to see my original surgeon and the response I got from him and the nurse was disgraceful, they were completely unhelpful and unprofessional. I wasn't deterred though, I searched for a different surgeon and found an amazing one in Sydney, he made me feel so at ease for the first time since the surgery.
So after 9 weeks of having the implants I had them removed under general anaesthetic and stayed in hospital for 2 days with drains. The capsules were also removed.
At first my boobs looked very flat and sorry for themselves due to the compression garment. But now, almost 2 months post op they are pretty much back to how they were originally, the only difference is the scars and a tiny bit of shape distortion due to where the pockets were originally made in my muscle, but that's hardly noticeable.
Mentally I am 100% better, I appreciate my natural body so much more and I love my little boobs! I'm still paying off the surgeries but I look at it as an expensive lesson in life and I feel lucky that I have pretty much got my original boobs back!
Speaking to other girls on here helped me so much, so I hope I can help other people!

After a bad experience with a cosmetic surgeon in Sydney I decided I wanted to have my breast implants removed. I didn't feel comfortable with my original surgeon so I approached Dr Jeremy Hunt, who was absolutely amazing! I am now 2 months post op and I'm very very happy I found Dr Hunt, he helped me get back to my old self-both physically and mentally! :)

Hi there, I am so happy for you! Well done! There are a lot of butchers out there and very little professional surgeons! Congratulations on your recovery and in getting your confidence back!
Thank you! I'm so happy now! It's refreshing to see so many women or here who have had similar experiences :)
Hi there,

If you'd consider sharing more details about your process and/or photos, I can add your review into the implant removal community. :)
Thanks for sharing, I wish a lot more Aussies would
