I had my breast augmentation procedure done by Dr Tavakoli in July 2014, I am absolutely thrilled with the care I received not to mention the final result turned out even better than I had expected. Dr Tavakoli has a wonderful bedside manner - he really takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer all your questions patiently (I had a long list). He also offered to be available to chat further had I forgot something when I got home. Super comforting. Once we got to looking at breast sizing Dr Tavakoli measured my chest wall and immediately suggested anatomical implant in 385cc. I tried on several sizes in round and anatomical before coming back to Dr Tavakoli's original suggestion, he was spot on. And finally after 3yrs of research and countless consults from surgeons from New York to Sydney, I knew I had found the surgeon for me. So I booked in to have the procedure done within the coming months. On the day of my procedure everything went really well. I spoke with Dr Tavakoli prior to entering operation theater where he addressed any final concerns. Dr Tavakoli stopped in to see me post op once I was more alert to explain how everything went and see how I was. I left the hospital that afternoon with bilateral drains insitu to follow up with an appointment in Dr Tavakoli's Double Bay clinic to have them removed the next day. I had no bruising and was comfortable on the pain killers prescribed 8th hrly. I ended up reducing myself after 3 days as I felt quite ok with one pain killer just before bed. I had a comfeel dressing intact for two weeks to my incision site which I removed the morning of my appointment. I applied silicone scar gel morning and night from then on. My scar is smooth and silver @ 5mths and barely noticeable. I am confident it will be difficult to see by 12mths. I started swimming at 6 weeks and am now back to jogging with no problems. I really cant rave enough about Dr Tavakoli, I have over 10yrs experience working closely with surgeons as a surgical nurse I know what makes a great surgeon.
