I had two emergency c sections due to the size of my babies. The pregnancies stretched my tummy to the max second baby was 4.6 kilos at 38 weeks and I'm only small built. So happy with my beautiful boys but I want to get my tummy fixed. I have exercised but can't get rid of excess skin. My selected surgeon will be doing procedure 10th February 2014. I am nervous have everything ready. I love this site for motivation and advice.

I'm 66 and had my tummy tuck January 21st. I hope to get drains removed tomorrow. My first elective surgery. I was afraid and kept thinking shouldn't I just accept my body and stretched saggy skin as a results of babies and surgeries. But I just couldn't and now I am so glad I had the surgery. I'm still mending and taking it easy. Best advice: make the decision this is truly what you want. A family member or friend will care for you and your family for 2 weeks. Prepare food for you and let you rest and take care of yourself. My daughter suggested that I drink a soup made with chicken carcass. Excellent broth good for healing your body. Prepare yourself now with good healthy Food and affirmations that your doing the right thing for your self. Make sure you drink lots of fluids especially after surgery. And have laxative suppositories on hand for bowl movements!!

I'm so tense, I spoke to my surgeon's receptionist yesterday and all is organized. Monday I go in 11:30am. Now I'm so terrified. I want some comfort that results will be Great!!

Ouch!!!! It's sore but I'm just taking the painkillers. I'm very weak surgeon came to check on me all seems good so far. Will update later when I have more strength. Hospital staff (St Vincent private hospital) are so kind and helpful love it :) my surgeon was also very supportive before surgery and continues to be. Hoping for pain to lessen will be getting up today :(
