It's been over a year

I'm all healed and happy with my tummy. It's nice and flat (I did the part of making the muscles strong) and there's no pooch of skin when I sit down. I had a full TT (NO muscle repair, wasn't needed) in April 2014 so far so good and I do recommend my surgeon :)

4 weeks after my big day
I can't believe it's been 4 wks already! I'm feeling like myself again and am cleared for running as of this week. I've done a few Pilates sessions and other than being sore in the abs afterward there was no pain or pulling. I held on with the instructor and didn't need a break which is a good thing considering I've been off for several weeks.
My tummy is still numb and I'm really bloated today but other than that things have healed very well. I have one small area of my scar that is raised up but I'm hoping it will fix itself with time. I am very happy with my decision and would do it again in a heartbeat.
I've made a homemade body butter/ scar cream that I'm hoping will help but if nothing else my skin will be very soft.
I will get more pics up I promise, I've just been busy with home and work and kids.

Hello, how are you feeling now about your new tummy ? I'm looking forward to getting a mommy make over which includes a tummy tuck. I want to chosen the same director as you and will like to know more about your experience as well as your body pics. Please help me make a great decision. I am happy with my results, of course to keep or improve the results maintaining your diet and exercise is important. My tummy is flat and I no longer have that pesky loose skin :) Dr Gikas is very good and a nice doctor, not arrogant. I was well taken care of before, during and after surgery.

I just call the doctor and will be scheduling a consultation with him with in the next two weeks. I feel so excited and scared all at the same time. Are planning to post up dated pictures? and you would recommend him right ? Also what was the cost of your surgery? you did have a full tummy tuck right? Please help me girl, and thanks again.

I think he's a good choice for the procedure you are looking for. He's no pressure at all but he makes sure you leave with all questions answered and Sherry his assistant/receptionist is very sweet and helpful. I had a full tummy tuck but did not need a muscle repair as he checked once in surgery and found not separation of my muscles.....thank you pilates lol. Yes I absolutely need to update my pics....

Almost 2 weeks out
I'm 2 weeks post op and couldn't be happier with what I see so far. I don't seem swollen but I'm definitely bloated (thank you monthly hormones) my drains are out and my incision looks ok, better than I expected it to look at this point. I am not bruised at all, I had more bruising from the IV than the surgery lol! So far so good. My energy isn't too bad, a couple times I needed a nap but most days I feel pretty good. I went back to work after 12 days, I was tired of being home.....today was my second day back and I did ok.

Sorry just took one quick pic.....I will take more in a couple days after my PS gives the ok to uncover everything. I don't think I have any before pics, I was trying to record video of my child's school musical and needed the space on my phone so I deleted a ton of pics.
