1th Time: TCA Chemical Peel 25% 2 Layers

The treatment itself was excruciating.

I had the unfortunate luck of getting a huge blood filled cyst right before. She [the lady at the clinic] did a quick pore cleanse before she put on the peel, but had to work around it. Too bad, because that side had the most scarring.

I freaked out a bit on the 3rd day thinking it may never peel. I read that spritzing water can help loosen it up, so I spritz rosewater and later that evening it started to peel. By day 6 it went off pretty fast.

During this treatment I took MSM powder internally (building up the dose before the peel).
Moisturizers: MyChelle Deep Repair Cream and Polypeptide Cream. I also then went ahead and ordered Tebiskin EGF that the clinic recommended that goes along with the Enerpeel treatment that I had. In my honest opinion, the Tebiskin EGF and MyChelle Deep Repair cream worked quite much the same.
I used oils and something called A-Cream that we have here in Scandinavia, but it didn't feel as if enough the first 3 days. But at that point your skin is so dry that I don't know if anything would work. I ended up moisturizing 10 times anyways.

In the end I'm not completely happy if this would be the only thing I did for my scars. You go through a lot of pain and then the smooth dry skin fools you in thinking the new skin under looks the same. If nothing else, I feel as if the scars are more prominent now or nothing actually changed.
Though I know the peel should envoke some kind of epidermal boost, and so there's really no way to give an opinion until 1-3 months after.

3 weeks after the TCA peel I'll be doing Dermastamp, which actually brings us to today. I'm looking more forward to this one as needling seems to be the best treatment for scars. The peel was in many ways not intended to vanish my scars, but to smooth out the edges, though I don't think it did that great of a job. Not the least on the cheek that needed it the most.

After finally getting control over my cystic acne...

After finally getting control over my cystic acne with healing my gut through diet and probiotics, I was left with a lot of scars around my cheeks. As soon as I had no active acne yet, I decided to go on a consultation on what the best treatment for my scars would be. The lady at the clinic recommended I do a TCA chemical peel to smooth out the sharp edges of my scars, to then use Derma Stamp to anchor off the deep indents of my scars.
