In a little over a week I'm 11 months post procedure. I still experience a little stiffness but it's minor and I don't care to massage my scar. I had my old fillers removed and got new done at a well known and popular clinic, very satisfied. I'm happy with my results, but for those who have followed my journey I can honestly say that I was very concerned along the way. If you have this procedure, be patient and trust the process ;)
I'll probably post a few times more as the result can keep on improving for up to a year.
The pictures all show before and afters, all from 5-11 months post.

You look beautiful dear!! I just read your entire blog and I am feeling all of the same things you had spoke about. Except I am only on day 4 post-op. I feel like each day drags on foreverrr just because I’m so anxious to see what it will look like once healed, or even 2 weeks from now!! I haven’t told many people about it- and I’m basically in hiding for the next 5 days. My mother doesn’t even know! My husband says the same type of stuff yours was saying. How is he liking it now?? Mine wouldn’t even kiss me last night and he said “you’ve wrecked your lips” and that really hurt. I got this surgery in attempts to lift my self esteem and so far it has done the opposite!
Patience my friend!!! It's very normal to have a roller coaster of emotions. The lip lift results are slowwwwww before all the swelling dissipates. It's a mental adjustment as well as a physical adjustment. I looked like a horse after my lift. I was devastated. Relax and enjoy your new beautiful smile
You were already super pretty to begin with so I'd imagine that contributed to your anxiety over the whole thing. I feel like society puts a lot of pressure on super beautiful girls so they end up placing an even higher value on their appearance because everyone's reiterated it their whole life, if that makes sense? I didn't read the full post but I saw the pic of you taking out the sutures yourself, that must've been stressful AF. Anyways, you look great. I know the scar is still healing but I would love to see a close up of the incision with the flash on if you're comfortable with that? Considering getting this done myself. Best -M

More pictures, soon 5 months
Several of you have expressed gratitude that I post quite a lot of photos, so here comes a few more. Almost 5 months has passed. I’ll do another post after this one with side by sides since you can't publish more than 10 pictures per post. I'm starting to really come to terms with my new face. Finally. it's not that I didn't like the result. It's just that i wasn't prepared for how I would react to the change - I wish I had known that these kind of feelings are very common when there's a change in your facial features. Keep that in mind if you're thinking of altering them.

I've missed this comment, so sorry! I still have a liiittle bit of stiffness but I don't think about it too be honest.
Hi, you look just amazing! Wonderful results! I was wondering how many mm was the distance between your nose and upper part of the lips before the surgery? And what's the distance now?
I haven't measured lately but I think it was 14 mm to start with.

Not only your lips looks beautiful, but your nose look beautiful as well. How long did the stiffness/numbness go away? I'm at 2 months and still feel some stiffness and numbness.
