So it’s been 5 weeks since my BA.
My right breast is still riding high and both breasts are hard and I still have some pain, but it’s much better!

Check up after 14 days

So yesterday I visited my PO for my first check up after the surgery. And I got to see my scars for the first time!
He removed the tape and put on new, and also instructed me how to put it on my self. I will be changning it one a week for at least 3 months.
I was expecting the worst since I have seen so many pictures of not so good looking scars after 14 days but it looked beautiful! Or at least my right breast looked amazing, can’t really say the same about my left, haha.
My right breast has recovered much better than the left, it’s beginning to dropp and settle and the nipple has a fine color to it.
My left is still high up and the nipple is blue/red/blackish and also leaks a bit of fluid.
But my PS said it looked great, and the left breast had more surgery done so that’s why it takes longer for it to heal.

I’m still not feeling a 100% okay, my back still hurts, but not as much as in the beginning. My left breast is hurting a bit and tonight I work up with a pain from h...from the right breast! Wierd cause I haven’t had any problems with it.
Next week I will be going back to work, I’m not really entusiastic about it, would love to be home for at least two weeks more, I still can’t lift heavy things and I absolutly not feel totally healed..

One week since BA and starting to feel a little bit better

So it’s been one week since I had my surgery.
I’m still suffering from back pain and my PS says it’s acctually phantom pains! That the body is confused and feels pain in the back instead of in the breasts.
It’s not as bad as anymore and it’s starting to fade so that is a relief and a good sign!
I’m still swollen of course, and pretty swollen between my breasts but that’s normal. Talked to my PS and sent him some pictures and he said that everything looked ok.
I’m still very numb, but it’s starting to move downwards, it’s mostly numb in the under area, while I can feel the top of the breasts.
My right nipple is starting to get back on track and I feel it more and more for each day. My left nipple on the other hand, is still completly numb wich worries me a bit.
