42 Yr Old First Under Eye Filler Treatment with Restylane by April Harrison at Suzanne Bruce & Assoc. - Katy, TX
ORIGINAL POST
This was my first undereye filler treatment ever....
WORTH IT$1,200
This was my first undereye filler treatment ever. I had been through a couple stressful years including a divorce, death of a close friend and co-worker, and a dear pet in addition to almost losing my job, having to sell my home and the trials of dating in mid-life. I have always had dark circles under my eyes, but after a couple years of restless nights due to anxiety and lots of crying really took it's toll and of course, my age.
This was the beginning of any cosmetic procedures to my face (I had liposuction and endermologie about 8 years before) and undereye filer was single-handedly the most dramatic and highest value for cost. My first fill was $1200 for two syringes at 600.00 each because the circles were so bad. I also ended up going back after 6 months for a touch-up but since have only had to go once a year now at 600.00 each. INSTANTLY TOOK YEARS OFF and was soooo worth it.

You look absolutely wonderful. These pix should be permanently on the front page! ;) I'm thinking about the same thing. .. I have a genetic tendency towards dark circles and everyone on both sides of the family started having them very early. .. it's so encouraging to see a great result.

You look amazing!!!! I am considering having injections for my tear troughs as well. I just want to make sure I go to someone who is an artist and knows the anatomy of the face forwards and backwards. I live in Houston, btw.

I did the same procedure with restylane almost a year ago. You can check out my profile also with my before and afters.. I was able to get away with one syringe for $550 and it's lasted a long time but I think I'm ready for a touch-up and it's been about 10 months!

Hello Aveda75 - thank you for your comment! I just did a refill
Myself this week. I had no idea the cost could go lower until this time! Only needed a 1/2 syringe for $400.00 ! AND ! There was still enough left to put a little around my mouth where some hollows have shown up! So pleased! I also have read that the more you keep up with it, the longer the refills last and at seems to be the case for me.

Woo hoo!!! The prices must be different out here because a full syringe is $550. I'm curious about what to do around the mouth with laugh lines. I know it can be used in the nasal labial Folds

So it lasted you about a year before you needed a touch up? I have undereye hollows just like yours and wondered how well it would last! Thanks for sharing!

The first time, I needed a another fill after about 6 months 'cuz the hollows were so bad. Then I lasted a year and now it's out to about 1-1/4 year this time and I only needed half a syringe, so it's lasting longer and taking less the more I keep it up.

7 days post 4th undereye touch up refill
Have the pre- and post procedure care tips nailed down now. Most flawless procedure yet and only required half a syringe and had enough left to add some volume to hollows under my bottom lipZ

I went in for first treatment and had two syringes for 1200 and feel like the cost isn't worth the very small difference I had . He did say I may need one more syringe but that's 1800$ for something that only last about a year

I understand. May not be a big enough difference for your situation. Was drastic for me, enough to be worth it.
Your pictures say it all- you look amazing!
