30 Yrs Old, 5'3 160 lbs, 3 Children, for the First Time in Years I Don't Look Pregnant!

Had my tummy tuck May 15/18. Currently 8 days post op and I feel amazing! I am so happy that I made the decision to do this for myself! I have 3 beautiful children who I love more than life it's self, but man did they ever destroy my body! Multiple pregnancies (including 1 c section) left me with a ton of loose excess skin, stretch marks, muscle separation, and extra weight, mainly all in my mid section. I don't expect that I'll ever be a size 2 again, and that is more than ok with me, but for the first time in years, I finally feel like I don't look pregnant! I feel like I can finally buy pants that fit my legs and actually button up over my belly too! Like I can wear tighter fitting shirts without being super self conscious about my stomach. I am still super swollen and i know from everything ive read on here and what my surgeon says that it will get even better with time, but even now 8 days out I am getting my confidence back, I smile every time I take the binder off and look at myself in the mirror, and I feel happy in a way I have not in a long time
I Figured it was about time I did a review since I have basically lived for this site for months leading up to my surgery, and now again in the days since in dealing with the recovery and all the emotions and bumps and bruises that come with that.
It has been a journey, but in my opinion a tummy tuck is definitely worth it! and honestly way less painful than I expected! The first 5 days were the worst, but honestly what is 5 days or so of pain vrs the rest of your life of happiness and new found confidence? We deserve it mommas!
I can't wait to go shopping!!!

Loving my new belly button and having fun trying on some of my clothes the last couple days. Still looking pretty swollen but I feel like its less and less every time I take off the garter and get a look at myself. Surgeon says it will still go down significantly which will be nice! I wouldn't say I've gone down a size yet (which obviously I would love) but my current stuff is fitting much better. Pain wise I feel great. No real pain anymore. Just more irritated with the garter than anything and I get tired fast. Every day I just get happier I did this!

Can't get enough of taking and comparing before and after pictures now. Kinda makes me wish I would have taken more befores in more outfits!
I have to admit I was a little skeptical that with time the decrease in swelling would make a significant difference and I would have even better results, but even comparing how the same shirt fit me 3 days post op vrs now at just 13 days, I can definitely tell the difference! Stuff is starting to hang loosely off me now that was once tight! So excited to continue to see the progress!
