Hi all. I am 5 days PO and am feeling great. I had my surgery at Dolan park Birmingham UK. I have to say after reading a lot of bad reviews I have a very positive experience there. They were great I couldn't ask for more. Nurses were exceptional. I am not in a lot of pain and haven't been at all tbh. I've been uncomfortable ie sleeping sitting but no real Pain! Not really sure what all the fuss is about.lol. I'm back Thursday and I'll update you guys once I've seen the nurse and checked all is well. You only thing I'm concerned about is position of my belly button! as my father in law said it looks high ): hoping not the case.

Hey I said exactly the same, just seen my belly button for the first time and I think it looks high but I think mine had sagged low with excess skin so now it's in the right place it looks high

Hi angie yes I now agree. I'm all bandaged up still, I had my first post op appointment everything seems fine. It's been 1 week 1 day now, I've returned home and been doing a few chores not much and had help. I still can't shower as I can't get the bandages wet ): gross!! But having washes but it's not the same boo.....my friend washed my hair today yay

Totally agree with you ! I'm day 4 now and each day it gets better ?? I nearly did not have it done because of the "painful" reviews - such rubbish

Feeling ok, had my 2 week check up at Dolan Park in Birmingham uk yesterday , I am now able to have a shower YAY!! Wow that felt amazing. Little worried about dressing scar myself after the shower incasvof infection. I am inching a bit today and had a few strange sensations. I think I over done it too as I made a birthday cake for my 3 year old and I'm now shattered. I tried to go out to the shop which is about 6 mins there and 6 back. It was tiring my back hurts from bending over etc, also 4 yo running around and too dogs. I'm just getting bored and frustrated that I can't do more stuff. I had a lump or swelling above my scar this morning. It's looks horrid. I dint like the look of it all open either makes me feel sick. But nurse seems to think it's looking fine, so maybe it meant to look like that?! Just looks puckered but I suppose it would. ):,

I'm day 17 po and had to walk to pick my daughter up from school pushing my son in his buggy, when I got home my back was so painful and I'd got to splits in my incision, it's so hard to sit still with children

Oh I know I feel your pain. I'm not walking a bit and so far so good. My scar is still in tact no openings so I think it should be ok but you never know. Take it easy Hun if you can x
