Hi Ms TT! We are the only ones on the 29th I think. How are you doing? I am ready but get a wave of panic every now and then.
Im doing well.. I havent felt the nervous side of it yet. Im excited bc Ive waited 12yrs to have a flat stomach again. I will keep u posted.12days left....
Yup! 'That's why I just brush off the fear. It's been 12-13yrs for me too. Tired of looking at it and thinking about it. Time to move on.
Lets start counting down the days..12days.....
Went shopping today for some necessities and comfort items. Setting up everything around the recliner! yup 12 more days!
I'm going shopping this weekend. What do you recommend me getting because I don't have a clue. lol!! I know I need some comfortable clothes.

I am trying NOT to buy too much. I was told they would give me any gauze, etc that I would need. I got a new battery thermometer, a small pack of facial wipes (figuring a good washing won't be for a few days), Hibeclense soap for pre surgery, found expensive sweatpants at Target. They are Capri length and draw string. I ready have lots of pj pants and work out pants so I got these to wear to and from the hospital. With a matching t-shirt of course! Gotta try to look my best no matter how bad I look when they discharge me. Tissues. And the last thing I will do is stock up on healthy snacks while being confined to the recliner. Starting with salt free saltines. I have hot and cold compresses if needed and extra strength Tylenol. A stack of magazines. I am not going to buy any compression garments until the surgeon tells me what to get. They are expensive!

I guess i better get a couple of sweatpants and some other comfortable clothing. I got my Ipad,cell phone, remote, but i may need to get some batteries. Lol! I need to get a nice comfortable blanket. I guess i will go shopping Saturday. 10days and counting...
OMG ! 10 more days!!!! This is where we start to hear the drum roll!
Also you might want some white tank tops to wear under the garment -- when it's okay to do so. That is a common suggestion I have read on here.
Are you wearing a garment now. My dr told me to wear mines to get use to it...My preop is Monday.... 10days.....
No, I dont have my garment. I will wake up with it on! I have been paying close attention to how much i need my abs to do everything! That makes me nervous....

Good Luck Ms TT- I also have my surgery on the 29th. I believe there are four of us on that date. Praying for all to have a safe surgery day. I am so ready for a new start to my life- without my belly.
My prayers are with you and anyone else that's having this procedure done. It's certainly nice to know that we have something in common March 29, 2013. Lol!! I'm looking forward to having it done because this will start a new chapter in my life. A new look.... Congrat.......Keep in touch
