This is completely before and then today. They’re not perfect, but using a eyebrow pencil to help the color a bit. Just don’t feel like I can go totally bare without touching up with makeup. For anyone doing it, I still say if you did it, follow the process, don’t mess with them trying to scrape them off.

Clearly not experienced enough, and I paid wayyyyy too much.

Omg! I totally agree. I paid $780 in hopes to make things easier when I get ready in the morning. Now I take longer trying to shade them in & they still look weird. Just when I thought I hated my thin eyebrows, I actually miss them. I’m going in for a 3rd touch in hopes this expert phi brow artist can redeem herself. I regret my decision. As I said b4 these artist should post more after pics. That will show their true talent.
I’m literately across the country in Cali, stopped in the Beverly Hills Microblading salon, and the owner said, #1 use glycolic pads to lighten the pigment and to do micro-needing, and only then could they touch up and warm up the tones. She also said, microblading won’t replace using makeup! They tell their clients that ahead of time! I can’t believe this crap! I ordered glycolic pads bc she said the longer I leave my current brows the way they are, then they won’t be able to fix the color. Ugghhh. They are getting more grey everyday FML
Did you go for a 3rd touch up? How r the brows?
I am going for a 3rd touch up in a few weeks. I do hv pics I need to post. The pics right after look amazing. It’s the results after everything has healed that I’m really unhappy about.
That’s horrible. Mine have not turned grayish yet. I intentionally went darker knowing they will eventually fade. I think some of these artist use cheap product resulting in bad after results. I live in Chicago, and most artist will correct someone else’s work. But will charge u the regular fee. Not touch up fee. More bad reviews need to be left. Sorry about your brows.
Hey how r the brows after the 3rd touch up? I’m debating to microneedling on mine and then maybe a Touch up with a color expert. I’m not sure though... may need a few more consults before I decide... using makeup on them but I do see areas I want fixed. The brow struggle continues LOL
Girl... tell me about it. I go in next week. However I feel that she will tell me they look fine, because she was hesitant on correcting the issue after she said she would. I will update after the touch up & after they heal. I did post pics. From the other 2 sessions. Honestly, I don’t think there’s hope. I invested in tons of eyebrows powders & pencils, so I’ve been able to make them look more decent.

Not worth it

Don’t do it!!! It never looks like real hair strokes. Be prepared to look tattooed. I really liked Courtney, but the brows-not so much. I thought because there was 5 stars on her Yelp reviews, that it would be a great choice, but no one can prepare you for the long process of waiting and being hopeful for perfect brows. Mine are clearly not what you would hope for or expect and it has given me anxiety ever since. I really wish I didn’t do it. I’ve been told it’ll just fade to look grey and never really be gone. I’m too scared to do anything more, so I’ll just be putting make up on them to hide the imperfections forever. Ugh

Your technician did you a disservice -you would have noticed the "hair strokes" the first day (immediately after it was done). It looks like your technicial did the "microshading", sometimes termed the "Asian brow style" - which looks like the thick marker shade, as opposed to the microblading 3D or 6D approach. It would never have "appeared" to look like fine strokes - actually even with well done 3d or 6d, it looks the finest immediately after, and then soften as time goes on. Now that you've touched it up and it's "in there", it will be about a year before any noticeable fading. Perhaps you can look at a laser removal option that doesn't scar too badly. Good luck, and thanks for sharing your experience!
It wasn’t shading, she used a razor... but regardless it is what it is.. I’m just shading in with pencil, not messing with a lazer... I’d rather wait and let it fade and just take it from there.
What’s wrong with them? They look good
Thank you... they look grey in some areas. I’m getting used to the shape but I have to add make up to them. She should have used dark brown ink bc you can see black as faded unnatural looking strokes... when I cover them up and add makeup they’re tolerable, but I don’t leave the house without makeup on them

13 days post touch up

I’m 13 days post touch up and feel like my left brow definitely looks more like a tattoo and worse and less natural than the right brow. I’m trying to be patient and see what it will look like in two more weeks, but I don’t think I’ll be doing anymore touch ups because it’ll probably just make it worse. The touch up is just as long and painful of a process emotionally to wait for as the initial appointment (not more pain for me in terms of it hurting- others have stated this, but that wasn’t my experience). If you do this, Stress that you want HAIR STROKES, choose color WISELY, don’t do too much in the first setting so the ink doesn’t bleed and FOLLOW instructions precisely.

After your eyebrows were microbladed the first time, how did you keep them dry while showering/washing your hair?
I just used a hand held nozzle in the shower and wouldn’t wash my face in the shower. I washed my face carefully over the sink. If your eyebrows get a little wet, you can just pat them dry with a towel very gently. I didn’t think it was all that difficult.
It’s a process though, believe me. You won’t know what your brows will truly be until after your 1st touch up. Follow the instructions they tell you, very important. Good luck!
Thank you for your reply. I will do that. I am having it done on Thursday and it just hit me the other day, how the heck am I going to wash my hair/face if I can't get these things wet! LOL
Don't do it!!
Did you go through with the microblading? If so, how are you doing?
Hi, just checking in after reading and checking in to see how you're coping? I too am not happy with my microblading results, and have been pretty much obsessed with finding a solution.
Hi! I’m doing ok, I don’t mind the shape, but so have to share them in a bit with the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pencils... do you have any pics posted so i can see what you’re dealing with? Be careful doing anything to remove.... have you tried a touch up?
*Shade them in
Hi, thank you for answering. I will post pics later today. To some it wouldn't be awful, but I hate the look of tattoo brows and since my tech went above my natural hair line, you can see where where the tattoo is, she did strokes with shading but it doesn't look like hairs at all. I am on 1.5 month post and I'm trying to wait it out. I scheduled a removal appoint for Oct, which will ne month 3 after initial procedure. I dos not have a touch up because I know I do Not want more ink on my face. I want it out. I'm just scared of scarring.
Thanks for checking on my. Yes, I had them done yesterday. She used a microblading machine which is different than what I viewed on the internet with the hand tool. They look fantastic even with the slight darkness. Yesterday they stung a little bit and I was worried because they look slightly uneven in shape but today, other than feeling the aquafor on them, I don't even notice it and some of the swelling must have gone away because now they appear even.
Glad you are happy! If you’re not stressed about the journey at this point, then you will be totally fine!
