EFFECTS ON PORE SIZE AND FINAL THOUGHTS
shana007June 26, 2015
WORTH IT$950
Please note...if you have large pores and are hoping that this laser will reduce your pore size, this WILL NOT reduce them (at least it did not for me). My pore size was normal to start and they were not reduced. Very good procedure though to even out skin tone and erase fine lines and superficial scars. If you are looking for very drastic results and have a lot of sun damage, this laser is not for you. If you have some minor sun damage, this is a great laser. Major sun damage: go for an ablative laser. Minor sun damage: go for Fraxel.

DAY 10 AFTER SECOND TREATMENT
shana007June 19, 2015
Starting to get compliments on my skin from ppl who know i had the Fraxel :) Stopped Neova cream and just finished my 1 week of doxycycline pills. I am somewhat back to my normal skin care routine (minus Retin-A, any exfoliation products and AHA's for now)---I am washing twice daily with antibacterial soap, using Vitamin C powder mixed with L'Oreal Age Perfect Cream, SPF 70 sunblock and Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Oil. Skin still feels a bit rough texturally, but from previous experience I have confidence that it will go back to normal in time. I have to say the fine lines around my eyes and on my forehead have been substantially reduced after having the 2 Fraxel Restore treatments and i am very happy that I made the choice to have the Fraxel done.

You look great! Do you know what your settings were? I had fraxel about 10 years ago and loved it. About to go again next week!

Thank you so much :) I am not 100 percent sure: I know the settings were definitely aggressive but not set to the absolute maximum. My Dr. said using the very highest settings was VERY risky and could cause burns and said he did not want to take any chances...so he did not do the very max settings. Just make sure when you go next week not to get the absolute highest settings for the laser intensity and density; it is not worth the risk of getting serious skin burns. Good luck to you :)

DAY 9 AFTER SECOND TREATMENT
shana007June 18, 2015
All redness is gone. Still washing with antibacterial soap, using Neova cream, SPF 70 and taking doxycycline pills. Skin looks very nice :) Texture is still rougher than usual when i touch my face (but as to be expected for a few weeks), slightly sensitive and a bit on the dry side. So far so good.

In any case, I hope it continues to go well!
