I was having so much pain at one part of my incision, I went back to the doctor's office and she explained to me that it was probably at the end where the doctor knotted the stitches. Get an ice pack put it on the area that is causing you the most pain it helps with the inflammation OMG it really does help at one point I felt like my skin was being ripped. Get an ice pack and ibuprofen also helps with inflammation.

Feeling a little depressed

I guess everyone heals differently. I am 15 days post-op and I'm tired of having aches and pains, I guess I'm just not used to having aches and pains. I've been trying to take myself off the medication I go all day without taking it I will take a ibuprofen 800 milligram and that helps. I guess I just wanted someone to vent to who probably knows exactly how I feel. Now that I think about it two weeks isn't a long time I know it it will all get better soon. I will say I do see some swelling going down I love my results I just can't wait to get back to normal.

Yes, healing takes time. One day at a time. Your results should make it all worth the temporary aches an pains. Praying for a speedy recovery for you.

Have you decided on a compression garment?

I'm still using the original one my PS gave me .I purchased another one off of Amazon but it's too tight.
April 19, 2017
Did he give you a binder or compression garment or both?
User Avatar

Just a binder
April 19, 2017
I heard the Marena compression with the side zippers are good.

If the scar is not low enough after you completely heal a cover up tattoo will help.

Being completely healed will take some time .I'm sure some garments will cover it ,we'll see.

What's the difference between the binder and the compression garment.
April 20, 2017
I found the compression garment offered more smooth contour to my shape(hourglass). The compression garment also helps with swelling. If interested purchase one with a opening in the crouch. I only removed for showing.
April 20, 2017
Clarification: the garment helps mold an hourglass shape.
