3 year mark. :)

Doing well nearly 3 years later.
I still wear an underwire bra, mostly out of habit, and I just like the way they fit better.
I had a revision of the axillary (side and armpit) area by Dr Placik in Chicago about a year after this procedure. (See my review; I anticipated that I may have needed that based on my anatomy.)
Anyway, doing well. There is a large scar at the underside of the breasts, which, if one does not walk around topless, one would never notice.
There is also a well healed scar around the areola (nipple area) which is slightly lighter than the areola, but not noticible unless one is looking for it.
No keyhole scar, and no implants. The recovery that I had from this procedure is a distant memory now, and I've had a mammogram since then, and the radiologist did not state any issues with interpretation of the images, which was also important to me.
I am very satisfied with the procedure, surgeon, staff, and results.

Bellasoma breast lift, 2 yrs later

Very pleased with results. I had this procedure (formerly known as Ultimate Breast lift) by Dr Horndeski in early 2015. I forget at times that I have had the procedure, until I look at the 'before' pics.
Although I wear a bra 99% of waking time, I don't feel the overwhelming need to do so. I still have reasonable fullness in the upper breast, although they have settled slightly as expected.
I anticipated a scar revision with this procedure (partially because of my anatomy, and partially because of the extended time in the OR for the original procedure). I did have this done separately, and under a separate review (see my profile for link.) This certainly was not a dissatisfier for me, but should be taken into consideration. For me, money was not an issue, but time was.
In any case, I've been enjoying the new boobs. They feel natural. The scar under the breast is noticeable when I lay down, but not unsightly.
I was able to walk around on topless beach, well, topless!!! There weren't gasps of terror from people! I didn't feel self conscious about them at all! I also have been to Burning Man festival twice, and was topless there as well. I received very positive feedback (actually...more from women, which I find amusing!) Not one asked me about scars or if I had any kind of procedure. It was just positive comments about the boobs!
I wanted fullness to the breasts without implants. Very pleased with the procedure. The devil is in the details, of course, so please refer back to my previous posts. The recovery is longer than conventional breast lifts, but now I don't even think about it.

10 month update! Look MA, no BRA!!

Hi. Has been awhile since posting. I received a msg from an old correspondent on here this AM, and realized that it was time for an update.
I'm typing this on phone, so if it derails, I will blame autospell and similar demons.
So it has been 10 months since my breast lift with Dr H. As a whole, I'm very pleased with the procedure. I'm thrilled to not have to wear very restrictive bras to keep my breasts at normal chest level, & I have the freedom to wear different varieties of clothing that I wasn't able to wear before....such as styles with more open backs, more swimsuit options, etc.
I'll summarize what I think are pros and cons:
PROS:
(note that the short list of pros is not reflective of the monumental awesomeness of having boobs that are not down to my belly button anymore)
Less scarring, more upper fullness, internal 'self support', more clothing options, less back pain. More natural looking boobs. No implant! (Huge pro for me).
CONS:
Travel to procedure. Cost is steep. Long recovery time (8-10 weeks of mandatory underwire use 24-7) with activity limitations (no overhead reaching, must sleep on back..etc). Potential of lift failure for not following directions. In my case, I felt that I needed a second procedure to address underarm/bra strap tissue, and dog ear repair. I anticipated this even prior to my procedure, and just had it done yesterday by local trusted surgeon. Will post a separate review of this, as it is really not a part of the initial procedure. Dr H did state that he would address scar concerns as part of the global fee, but for me to coordinate trip to Tx again was difficult, so I had work done locally.

In all, very happy I did the procedure. My boobs feel natural, I feel that they look natural, and don't have a huge scar running down the middle. They are not as high as they were the month after surgery, but still are in great position. I wore my cast, I mean, underwire bras.. Haha 24-7 for much longer than the 8 prescribed weeks, and I think this helped. I also modified the bras, shortening the back straps with my sewing machine to ensure a very snug holster over the shoulder. Husband took pictures of the domestic goddess in action. Ha.

So what have I done with my new boobs? Well, I feel more comfortable being Topless or wearing spaghetti strap tops. I am not an exhibitionist by any means, but I went to a nude beach in Nov, and have to say it felt good to take the top off. I also went to Burning Man this year (first time! Did medical volunteer work there) and rode my bike topless in the 'Critical [RS bleep]' bike ride...kind of a female empowerment bike ride where everyone takes their shirts off. All kinds of boobs there. Unfortunately, this year's ride was pounded by an unusually violent dust storm, and visibility was about 10/feet. I took pictures of my boobs in my tent mirror just before the ride (attached). Disclaimer...thats probably about 5-6 days of no shower by the time that pic was taken. The pasties are by Bijoux Indiscretes, and you can find them on eBay amongst other sites. They would've looked better had I not been covered in an inch of dust.
Again, I had a revision of this procedure, which I anticipated and budgeted for. It would've been much less expensive for me to go back to Dr H, but the logistics of bringing a caregiver were too much.
Would I do the procedure again? Absolutely. This reduction is much more involved than a standard breast lift and/or reduction; the price and the extensive recovery reflect that. However, I feel the long lasting nature of this procedure coupled with the benefits of reduced scarring and no implant made it quite worth it for me. It may not be for everyone.
As an aside, I had to have a repeat mammogram before my scar revision procedure yesterday, and the technique of the breast lift did not at all affect the radiologist's ability to see my tissue or do any kind of diagnostics. Although I do not have a family history of breast cancer, this was a relief to know that I wasn't 'masking' anything with the procedure.
Anyway, I'm recovering from my scar revision and lipo from yesterday, so sick of typing. Hope this finds everyone well. :)
