Hello everyone,
I'm so glad I found this site, I'm a 41 year old mother of 2 and a 3 year old granddaughter. I'm post op tummy tuck, muscle repair, liposuction in my abdomen and flanks on 06/25/2014. I was SO nervous days prior to my surgery, but on the day of my surgery I was totally fine. The staff at River Pointe Surgery Center in Rosenberg, Texas was excellent; they really made me feel comfortable. My doctor, OMG.....he is so AWESOME...Dr. John T. Nguyen, I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. It's great to find a plastic surgeon that loves what he does, has so much compassion and is honest and truthful. I regret not getting the complete mommy makeover, because I do want to go back for a breast lift and butt lift. My husband has been so supportive, cooking, cleaning, making sure I take all my meds, giving me a shower, and making sure I empty my drains and recording the information. I truly thank God for him and my children.
I'm still walking with a slight bend but the one thing thats bothering me the most is the back pain on my right side. If I stand for too long my back begins to ache really bad on the right side. I go for my post op on Thursday July 3rd and my tubes will be removed, drainage has been less than 10 ml for two consecutive days. I've been so bored sitting around this house, I'm the type of person that likes to move around and get things done. I've been shopping on line, scrolling facebook and instagram, calling friends that are at work and sleeping. I've ordered 5 pair of shoes so far, 2 maxi skirts and 3 halter maxi dresses; I've also completed 3 weeks of homework and have called my job almost everyday. Oh, I did forget to mention I'm an office manager for an internal medicine doctor for 6 years, if he knew I was taking my 2 week vacation for this procedure he would flip out. I had lap band surgery in september of 2012 and lost 57 pounds. When I took off for that surgery and he found out he thought I was crazy. But, I'm doing great overall, just can't wait for a complete recovery to see my full results......
