I also wanted to mention briefly for now that Dr. Horndeski and his staff were the epitome of kindness and warmth and hospitality. I will write a full review when I get back home.
Doc's before measurements ended up being 21 mm, 4 mm less than the 25 mm that I had measured. He removed 6 mm from the center and 10mm from the right and 9 mm from the left because I am a little lopsided by nature. I think I'll be happy with the results; we shall see after all this puffiness goes down. I've extended my stay in Houston by a day, so I fly back home tomorrow. I'll write another update soon afterwards.

This is a preview, rather than a review, since I am writing this pre the lip lift. I haven't met Dr. Horndeski or any of his staff yet, but having spoken with them over the phone and communicated by email, I can say Dr. H. sounded very calm and knowledgeable and very much on the same page as me during our consultation. He answered all the questions that I had for him, but I'm sure I will have more once I've met him in person, and I have no doubt he will take his time to answer those as well. His coordinator Jana has also been very responsive to my emails and my questions, and has been a terrific help all around, giving me information when I asked about the medication that I will need following the procedure, and answering my questions regarding hotels and transportation and airports, since I'm an out-of-town patient. So far I'm quite satisfied and happy with my interaction with the doctor and his office, and I'm looking forward to meeting them in person in a couple of days.
