Couldn't be happier!

I'm 33 years old, 4"11 135lbs...I have a very petite frame. Through the years I've fluctuated weight from 100lbs-167lbs (pregnant) for the last 3 years ive pretty much maintained my weight. With all the fluctuation I lost alot of elasticity in my skin and not only had big, but saggy boobs. Prior to my surgery I was a 34 DDD. My husband had NO issue with my breasts lol, however, I have always felt they were too big for me, and my frame. I always felt uncomfortable, and insecure...I had back aches and would some times just hold them for relief. The vain part of me hated I couldn't wear the cute dresses, shirts that required pasties or no bras...I would HAVE to wear a strapless bra and they were all so uncomfortable and would ride down...and make my boobs look even more saggy than than the already were. I HATED how saggy they were on top of the size.
For years I had talked about a reduction and lift but was turned off by the anchor scar and having to get a small implant to get the upper fullness. I was adamant I didn't want any sort of implant in me. After years of jokes, talks, research I came upon the Bellesoma Method by Dr. Horndeski. Keep I mind I had seen probably 3 other doctors before that said I couldn't get away without and implant and the anchor scar) I scheduled my free consultation just for the heck of it. In my mind it sounded to good to be true. 9/13/2017 My husband and I met with the doctor. He showed us pictures of his technique why and how it's different. Agreed that my breasts were way to big for my frame and answered all my 1,000 questions. Very nice, genuine, and you could see he was passionate about his work. After he left the room I told my husband I'm doing this! He supported me and that same day I paid and scheduled my surgery for 2 weeks out. Jana, his assistant who's worked with him for 20 years was such a sweetheart and made us feel very comfortable. Even giving me a list of their personal cell phone #s incase I had any issues, concerns, or questions. I did ALOT of research...I always research everything and read all reviews to try to prepare myself. I came across a website that pretty much had nothing but negative reviews, and I started to panic a little and question whether it was the right choice. I texted Jana with my questions and concerns. She immediately texted me back and asked to call me. We spoke for a while and addressed every question/concern. Being in the Real Estate industry I know and understand that you CAN'T please everyone, we are all human and can make mistakes, and not all personalities mesh well. There are some VERY unrealistic/demanding ppl in this world. I got off the phone and had a sense of peace (I think I was just getting cold feet bc it was actually happening)
September 28th, 2017 We checked into the hospital, everyone there was SO SO nice. Doc came in drew all over me, took pics, video and measurements and in I went for surgery. My surgery was every minute of the 5 hours, he showed my husband pics when he was done and told him he was very happy with the results.
Recovery: I guess this was my fault for assuming or just being ignorant...but a 5 hour surgery is a big deal and extensive. I had it in my head I was going to be back to work in a few days and BOOM. I wouldn't say that I have a low or high tolerance for pain...im somewhere in the middle. I pretty much slept for the next 3 days so I wouldn't feel the pain I took pain pills for those 3 days and the muscle relaxer they prescribed.
I personally found the muscle relaxer to help me more. The 4th day and there after I took tylenol/muscle relaxer. The best way to describe it in my opinion is like when you are breast feeding and your boobs feel like they are going to explode x 100, feverish, and like they weighed 100lbs, not to mention you feel helpless and like T-Rex. Probably all normal things, but I just didn't think about the recovery prior to surgery... so I felt unprepared. I got my drains taken out on day 7...not pleasant, but quick and the relief you feel from having those darn things out is AMAZING!!! Please excuse my nasty looking 7 day picture...lol I only showered my bottom half that week and sponged my top half bc I was scared and for some reason didn't think I was allowed...lol When I took off my bra the doc said "um you know you can shower right?" Lol I was like I did just not the boobs...i was SCARED...silly me.
I would say It took me 10 days to feel a sense of independence and back to myself. I'm 12 days post op and feeling great! No meds since Day 9.
I guess my reason for this long winded story, is to shed a little light for anyone considering doing it. Allow your self a good amount of healing time, it's MAJOR surgery, so don't get discouraged if you don't just pop out of bed in 3 days like I did. (miss independent felt like a big baby)
I couldn't be more excited about my results!!!! No back pressure, pain, no more wearing safety pins to cover up my shirts that would normally be screaming at the bust, I'm going to get to wear cute stuff, go braless if I want. This thurs, 14 days out i get to take the tape off and I'll post progress pics. Doctor Horndeski says I'll be a D now, and that my scars will heal very well and unoticeable/visual. I'm really happy with the placement of the sutures....WOOOHOOO. Still swollen, but with time they will take their natural shape. Newho, I didn't mean to bore anyone, but thought I'd share my experience as I found it very helpful to read other women's stories. If you have any questions feel free to ask...im an open book!
Ps...the bra I'm using that they said was perfect is a Wacoal, ID# 853117. I got mine at Macy's or you can get it online. I'll post a pic so you can see the full coverage and great under wire support. Comfy too!
