My breasts are set sort of wide so even though my VS bra size is some what big (34DD) I only fill it due to my width! I’m hoping for a more full look all around and bigger. I have yet to meet Dr. Feldman but am set to in March and after my pre op appointment I will have my surgery the next day...I can’t wait!

Still waiting....

Ugh, hating this waiting game for my surgery date in March for my BA! I’m curious how everyone else handles the after math of a BA. I’m a very private person so the only person who knows I’m getting one is my hubby. I REALLY don’t want to tell anyone else. I don’t want to deal with their judgment or “you were just fine as you were” comments, as though the only reason someone would get one is due to poor self esteem. Yet I know (or at least fear) it will be obvious I had one done because I want to go larger than I am. Even if it’s not obvious to everyone I know it will be to my prying cousins, girl friends, & sisters and dread that. So I’d love feedback on how all of you plan on handling or have handled it when someone point-blank asks “did you get a boob job?!” Thanks in advance for your feedback!!

When I scheduled my BA I had the date, but I had to wait until 3 days prior to find out the time, not exactly the same, but it was annoying and makes it hard to prepare for. Personally I wasn't gonna tell a lot of people. Just wasn't sure how they'd react and what not. My hubby told me I should tell my family since it was a surgery. The most annoying was the assumption I was doing it for my husband. Don't get me wrong it's the gift that keeps on giving.. But it was for me. I've always wanted bigger boobs but wanted to wait til I was done with babies and breastfeeding. And let me tell you, shirts I hated fit better now. I'm more confident being naked around my husband.(not that I was super self concious... But I take my time getting dressed now) I haven't had the boob job question yet but I'm sure I'll blush when it happens lol

Hi Ladies
I haven't told my family as well. I'm curre fly a B so going for a full D will be a big difference on my appearance. Theres a few people that have had breast augmentation friends and family. Can't wait to see their expressions..lol I'm scheduled for surgery in two weeks.

You'd be surprised how subtle a difference it can be. I was a 34a, I got 580cc, I'm now a 34DDD/36DD, and it doesn't look questionable at all! I wore the bombshell bras pre ba, so any one who's seen me before doesn't even question it

That’s good to hear, I really keep hoping no one will notice. My husband said that if anyone asks and I don’t want to tell them, I should just say I switched birth control! Lol

That's true! My biggest worry was going to talk to my daughter's teacher and it being super noticeable. But they're very versatile (nurse actually told me this at o ne of my pre ops) you can easily play them up, or play them down.

Idk, from what I’ve read about my doc, he recommends not overly focusing on how many cc’s etc. He has an engineering background so he really focuses on the look I’d like and what will look best on my frame. So at the consult after reviewing everything with him in detail I’m sure I’ll have a better idea. I know he uses the Natrelle brand though, I’m doing silicone, and under muscle. Beyond that, I have yet to find out next Tuesday!

I've heard of a lot of doctors who do it that way. I think it's a good way to reach your goal/ wish pics!

It wasn’t easy waiting 3 months for my surgery date. I had to stop looking at stories on here for awhile so that it wasn’t on my mind all the time. Now that my surgery is just next week on Thursday I’ve opened up the flood gates and been reading journey after journey on here to prepare myself for what I might experience. I still feel very confident in the surgeon I’ve chosen (Dr. Evan Feldman in Houston), even though I have yet to meet him. Jeannette, his coordinator, had been fantastic throughout too.
I’m mostly excited about this majority of the time, but one part of me still worries....what if I regret it? I’m sure that’s a normal thought that many of you ladies have experienced in passing, I just hate any moments I have doubt about myself. I really hope it remains just a passing thought. Would love to hear how any of you felt leading up to it!
I am posting a couple more pics and wanted to know if any of you had a fair amount of breast tissue before having your ba surgery. Do they appear more natural because of this, do they remove some of your tissue and then add the implant? I really don’t know what to expect with this. I will ask my surgeon when I meet him but would love feedback from all you lovely ladies. Thanks!
For some reason I’m feeling all sentimental about my boobs as they are now, like i
I’ll miss my girls :D I know it’s silly.
Well that’s it for now. Here are a couple pics before I upgrade next week!
It’s nice to know my husband will be there for me through out and he’s been awesome and already lined up a few things to make life easier during my recovery (like getting me a recliner to sleep in and purchasing pre made healthy meals in advance).
