- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

Terribly Life Altering...
I have hesitated to write this review for over a year. I had a horrible experience with Dr. Jaffer. The list of reasons I am unhappy with my results is very long.
I went to Dr. Jaffer for my consult. I told him I wanted to have my old implants removed and did not wish to be a DD or DDD anymore. I told him I would be fine with having them removed, having a lift and not replacing them. He told me that would be a huge mistake and I would hate the way I looked. So, I listened to him, as he is the professional. He told me he could definitely get me to a C cup. I was happy with that, as that was the major reason for the surgery. I wanted/needed to be smaller. ALOT smaller (I am 5'2" 115). I didn't have a great feeling about him to begin with. He was somewhat pompous and condescending, but I find that to be common among surgeons, so I wasn't that put off.
Surgery day came and we were in the surgical waiting room. Dr. Jaffer came in to make the drawing on my chest that would be necessary for the surgery. He told myself and my husband the surgery would be about 3 hours long I once again urged him to MAKE SURE I was around a medium C cup at the end of this. He said, and I quote, you will absolutely be a C cup.
7.5 hours later I was out of surgery. Immediately, after waking up I noticed that something seemed VERY wrong with my voice. I am a singer, have been for years and use my voice for shows, weddings, etc. The nurses told me I was just really dry and it would feel better in a few days. After a few days, it did not feel better. I went to my first post op and mentioned the face that I was still a DDD and felt like something had happened to my voice. He laughed at me and said if damage had been done to my voice, I wouldn't be able to talk. Well, he was certainly incorrect about that. After months of having voice issues, I visited a laryngologist in Houston and she put a camera down my throat. I did indeed, and still do over one year later, have partial vocal paralysis, due to nerve damage. I've been completely devastated by this. It has ended my stage work. Which, of course, I've never been paid for but absolutely love doing. That is over.
On top of the vocal issues, I am a DDD, my scars are huge, I mean really huge. The surgery was a complete waste of $$. There was no point in putting myself through 7.5 hours of surgery that literally wrecked my body. And, while I fully understand that Dr. Jaffer did not place the tube in my throat, he did take SEVEN hours to do a surgery that should have taken 3, increasing the odds of damage being done to the larynx.
When I went back to him a few months later and said, why, why am I this size. You assured me I would be a C cup and he said, well, that wouldn't have fit your body so...
This has been a horrible experience and I am having to pay to have them redone once again.
I strongly caution against using him.
