At 25 years old I feel like my breast were about 40 years older than I was. They were droopy and I had large aerolas. Even though I have been with my fiancee for 6 years I was very self-conscious around him and it was affecting our life in the bedroom!
After a few years of thinking I decided it was time to do something about it. I did some research and got in contact with the WA plastic surgery centre, from there I had a free consultation with the nurse about a breast lift who then referred me to Dr Vijith Vijayasekaran.
Straight away when I went into his office I felt at ease. He is very easy-going and professional, no question was a silly one (I had to ask confirm if it was true you could roll over implants with a chair and they wouldn't burst!).
I originally was looking at just having a breast lift but upon further discussion with what I wanted (it was important to keep my size) he suggested implants otherwise I would become smaller. I wasn't sure on what size as I didn't want to become big and he gave his recommendation which I went with. I am so happy that I went with the size he recommended, they are the perfect size for me.
My recovery was pretty good not too much pain, I had 2 weeks off work and was back to exercising after 6. The nurses at the centre were great, very nice and always trying to to help make you feel more comfortable. My scars aren't too visible and don't bother me at all.
9 weeks later my self-esteem is better, I'm more confident and just overall happier. It was the best decision I've ever made.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Vij to anyone and if I decided to have further surgeries I would be going straight back to him.
