I flew to Perth for my consult and surgery with Dr Briggs at 19yrs old.
1st Surgery :
I went from a Small B cup to a D cup.
Transaxillary Incision (armpit)
Mentor Round High profile textured 275cc
Below the muscle

2 days after surgery my right implant look deformed and I was worried so I called the office and was told it was too early to tell anything.
stayed in Perth for 3 weeks and attended my post op appointments and again my concerns about my left implant were waved off.
I returned home and by the 5th month one implant has dropped and the right one was still really high. I didn't bother contacting the staff as I knew what they would say.
by the 10th month my right breast had only dropped a small amount and the remaining breast had this "flop" look to it.
I had sent photos of my side on and face forwarding profile and finally they agreed something wasn't right but i had to wait until it was 12 months until I could get it fixed.
I had such low confidence and bad depression from the whole ordeal. When i was 20 i finally had some time off work and enough funds to fly back to perth and get revision surgery.
after a year later, my righ implant is signicantly better but still sits too high and therefor my profile of my implants are much different.
when emailing dr briggs he said " i dont know where you got the $600 fee from but you should add another zero on the end"
I just hate what he's done to my body. His bedside manners are disgusting and im now looking for another surgeon to fix his mistakes.

Hi, thanks for sharing your experience. I had my first consultation with a plastic surgeon for a BA and it was Dr Briggs. He seemed nice, honest & professional, and the Nurse was lovely & answered all my questions - although i still have a few more which i have asked via email. It concerns me when reading negative reviews though. My friend had a great experience with her BA with Dr Briggs, which is why i went to see him. Do you have any before and after photos? And was your right breast higher than the other before your BA surgery? Thanks.

no my breasts were the same height and size. no major asymmetry problems.
my problems with Briggs is after all my concerns I've never had a post op check up with his or his staff with all my concerns. he just sent me a quote for another revision.

When did u have your surgery? Coz I didn't
think any surgeons in Perth put the implants in under the arm?

I had my first surgery in 2009 at 19yrs old and yes surgeons do put implants in through your armpit. I had to wear a strap for a year to push them down and have almost no feeling under my arms now.
