Good results from TCA cross but very expensive

Good results from TCA cross, great bedside manner. $$$$
tl;dr great for TCA cross, and great for the peace of mind if you're on the more risk averse side when it comes to acne scarring treatment. But very expensive, considering the fact I'm not blown away with my results.
I have seen Dr. Novick for Subcision (both individual and field) as well as TCA cross. I've received good results on the TCA cross scars he has performed them on. Unfortunately, the rolling scars have not benefited as much from the two subcisions I have had him do. That may be because I have not used filler when having these performed, or because he is not particularly aggressive. He was certainly less aggressive than another provider I have seen for this same procedure. Given that the more aggressive treatment did not provide far better results and required more downtime, I now appreciate that Dr. Novick erred on the safe side, considering potential Subcision risks like ligament tears.
Where Dr. Novick does stand out as great is in his bedside manner. He is personable and will take the time to answer all of your questions. He is never pushy when it comes to recommending procedures. In fact, he is just the opposite, erring on the side of conservatism -- some of the scars I am considering having him treat with TCA cross now are ones he told me to sleep on because they are not terribly deep or noticeable. (I'm choosing to have them treated because if I can't get the improvement I want on my rolling scars, at least I can experience some overall improvement to the area via TCA cross.)
The main reason I am giving 4/5 stars is for the cost of these treatments. His subcisions are priced on the higher side, especially considering there was no filler involved, and for that I'd have hoped for more noticeable results.
I am considering returning for additional Subcision as well as TCA cross if I am able to justify it financially.

During the 1.5 hour initial consultation session, I make every effort to emphasize that for "mature scars," , the maximal overall improvement from either individual subcisions or TCA CROSS, ranges between 60%-80& and that for the vast majority of people achieving this typically takes between two to six treatment sessions per site. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to be of service and for achieving gratifying results.
