I am a 28 year old and I had my augmentation on 10/26/11. He also told me about his painless surgery and how he did research so that when you left his office the only thing you would have is a piece of tape under each breast. He calls this his rapid recovery. This was hard to believe especially seeing it on TV. He told me that when his patient's leave that he make sure they can lift their arms above their heads, and the only thing you may need to take is an Advil. I was in shock. He suggests that I shop around before committing. When I left his office that day I felt more knowledgeable, I felt like having Dr. Epstien do my surgery was the right thing for me. There was no reason for me to search anywhere else because I trust that he was going give me the confidence that I was lacking from having small breast. The day of my surgery I went to his office which he has a full operating room in. They prepped me for surgery and he goes over everything again with you just to make sure that everyone is on the same page. When I first went into his office I wanted to be a full C but that day I changed my mind and wanted to be a small D because I was afraid that they may not be as big as I would like them. That was not a problem he made sure my skin could handle it and we went bigger.
Although he can’t guarantee the exact size because implants do not go A, B, C, D the go by cc’s, he would get them as close as he can. As promise when I woke up in recovery I was not in pain just felt like I had bigger breast and I was able to lift my hands over my head. I was given my rapid recovery sheet and told to eat and take a nap and when I wake up go out. When I woke up I went out and actually was shopping for a bed, you would not have known that I had major surgery that morning.
Thanks so much for sharing! Was it hard to make yourself go out after your nap or did you want to?
