Love my Results - Stony Brook, NY

I'm 29 years old, and it’s been a little over five weeks since I had my surgery. I've ALWAYS been so self conscience of how I look, since my breasts were small (B without a padded bra). My boyfriend always told me how beautiful I was and large breasts didn’t matter to him, but every time I saw a girl with large breasts, I became insanely jealous and felt intimidated by seeing big boobs on the TV or on the beach. I always thought large, round breasts were beautiful and artistic and I just had to have them. I found Dr. Epstein online; he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery. I looked through his credentials and his testimonials as well as his before and after gallery. He seemed to be the right doctor for me, as well as the closest to my town. I had been researching breast enlargement surgery for about 10 years and had already endured 4 consultations through the years.  After my initial meeting with Dr. Epstein I knew he was the doctor I was going to use. I was finally able to see what I looked like with the breasts I'd always wanted with his state of the art equipment (3D imaging).  Also what was most important to me was Dr. Epstein actually measured me and told me the best size that would fit my body without making me look fake or top heavy, we agreed on 339cc which would most likely bring me to a D cup.  Other consultations I had been to, the doctor would give you a bra with a large implant to try on and that was going to be how you looked....that was bogus to me.  My skin and stretching ability isn't the same as someone who has 3 kids. Dr. Epstein also performs a technique where you recover in 24 hours and are able to raise your hands above your head.  He will answer ALL of your questions and never rush you out of the room. Lets face it...this is elective surgery (in most cases) and you are nervous among many other emotions, it's imperative that you find a doctor that you click with. I met with MaryEllen that same day, his patient coordinator, who was doll.  She went over the whole process again, pricing, gave me a folder outlining everything Dr. Epstein and I spoke about and told me to call her anytime with questions or concerns.  My mom was the biggest skeptics, she was so against me doing this, I had her meet Dr. Epstein, he opened the floor to her for questions after he explained everything to her and she too clicked with him. Well about a week later I called and I booked my surgery!  July 27th 2011 in his office.  I was the first surgery that morning and I had to arrive at 8am.  Dr. Epstein's anesthesiologist, Dr. Slepian called me two days prior to go over the procedure and my medical history.  This office was extremely through and I felt at ease knowing I was basically putting my life in someone's hands.  The surgery went well and according to plan, Dr. Epstein kept me parents well informed in the waiting room and a couple hours later I was able to go home.  I was able to lift me hands over my head! I had some swelling and a little discomfort but after 2 days of taking no more than Ibuprofen, I was feeling great.  I followed Dr. Epstein's "recipe for recovery" and it worked for me. It was back to normal activities for me, I was able to shower and sleep in my own bed.  I hear all these horror stories and wonder what were these women thinking in picking their doctor.  I wanted to take the time to share my personal experience with anyone who is contemplating this type of elective surgery that Dr. Epstein is an excellent surgeon.  I am so happy with my results; I look so natural, and feel great.  Thank you to Dr. Epstein and his staff for an amazing experience.  Thank you for reading my review and good luck!
