2 weeks and change

I can't believe it's been over two weeks that I had the reduction done. Since last time I wrote, I've gone back to work and it's been great absolutely no problems, back to all daily routines, no medicine. Caught a bad cold but that's about it. I have my two week post op on Monday, the swelling is pretty much gone, the skin below the breast has gone down a lot so I'm not too worried about it.

You look awesome! The shape of your breast and areoles/nipples look great. Breast are round and not square at all. Glad you are healing well.

You are looking great and your breasts definitely have a great shape. I was thinking about you and wondering how you were doing with going back to work and with your little one. Glad to hear things are going so well. You probably still have some swelling but it is hard to tell how much.

How was going back to work? And are you driving? How is the baby and have you been caring for her alone?

It's been hectic with all the snow we've been getting in NY but I haven't been driving, work had me sore the next day after I went back, & yes my daughter has been with me and only me, she's been a good girl tho

I can say I had a pretty good first week in recovery. I honestly thought I was going to have more limitations, I guess I'm a good healer & not much of a complainer. I am proud of myself. I am completely on my own with my daughter now, so not only am I trying to recover, I'm looking after my baby, & I go back to 50+ at work on Monday. Only concern I have is that I got the lollipop incision and I have that extra skin on the bottom, not happy at all with that, but hey it could have been worse right? Take a look and let me know what you think, will it go down by itself or will I need to get it removed at my surgeons local clinic?

looking really good and i think recovery from lollipop will be easier as the incision join with anchor is a vulnerable spot. i think that as stitches go, the skin will relax. still be a bit careful but all sounds good

You are looking wonderful. Extra skin might go away on its own but if not PS can correct so no biggy. Happy that after a week you can handle both yourself and baby. Hopefully I can do the same. My baby is 16 months

Almost a week post Op

Sue21_91
Hi. So I can't believe tomorrow is gonna be already a week since I got my surgery. Everything's gone well so far. Today I had a lot more pain than any day below my breast. Right where the incision ends, it's swollen and it really hurts. I started watching my toddler yesterday by myself so that can explain the pain. She requires a lot of work and picking her up isn't easy. Even tho I might not reply to all your comments, they are really helpful and I thank you ladies for all your well wishes.

Do you know how much was removed - it is amazing what he did with such a small incision - so little bruising - it is very impressive work! Lucky you. :-)
January 23, 2014
I had 250 removed from the right and about 270 from the left even tho I might need another surgery on the left one in a few months because they are very uneven, we have to wait to see if the swelling goes down
