still have a lot but it's going down. still have my drains. hoping to get them out on friday which will be day 21. i hope they have slowed down enough by then. im feeling better and am glad i did this. im getting a better shape in my waist now too. will post pics at some point.

I got mine out at day 13.... you will feel more comfortable without them... :) keep it up! The worst its over!!! :)

im glad theyve been helpful.. things keep getting better day by day. having drains removed today, finally. actually one may stay cause it's still putting out more than 30cc/day. we'll see

1st week done
Went to first postop yesterday. Things look good. A little ischemia to belly button but he says tissue underneath is good. Not worried just may slough I'm a little as symmetrical in the hips/waist. Way to soon to tell anything is permanent. I'm not worried. Lots of swelling which is the way it is for a while. Still have my drains. They are draining a lot. Not bothering me. Pain lots better have not needed a pain pill all day for the first time. Took a couple last night. Will probably take some tonight. Sleeping well in the recliner. Diet is good. Just have a constant tightness throughout abdomen and vulva. Breathing getting better. Dr says take it easy this week can take short walks during day. That's it. Going back next Thursday to check on drains. Love the low scar/ incision in front. Here are a few pics. Not great but hopefully you can see a little progress. Hope you are all healing well you awesome ladies! Love ya

Wow! So happy that you are doing well! My belly button finally is healed. :) I am definitely off with my hips also. When I swell my belly button looks like it is placed either on the left or right of where it should be. lol When the swelling goes back down it is perfectly centered. Weird, but thought I would share. For some reason that made me laugh so wanted to share. lol I guess I need some laughs.
Congrats on your weight loss! :) How are you doing with your walks? I just did a small one yesterday. I was 6 weeks and 2 days post op.

im doing much better. i havent posted any recent pics. im back at work-so busy. i;ll update this weekend. i've lost more weight and inches. im happy. having the lower abdomen swelling, but that comes with the territory for a while. thanks for commenting. glad youre doing well!

I'm so happy that you are doing much better! It's okay about the pictures as I haven't even updated my review yet. I was in misery, but thankfully I think I'm starting to feel better.
Yes, my lower abdomen swells too. In the morning it looks flat, but by dinner time I am starting to swell. I am hoping my swell hell stays away as the normal swelling is enough. lol
Congratulations on the weight loss and inches! I haven't bothered to measure myself as I was in too much pain. I started off 189-193 {I didn't weight myself before surgery}. I am 174 now.
