I didn't know that a breast reduction revision was possible. I am so happy that I found out it was.

I had breast reduction surgery as a high school athlete and was happy with my breast size (B) for many years. But my 40s, I'd gained weight mostly in my upper body and breasts. In the last couple of years, I lost weight and added muscle, doing Crossfit and Pilates. My breasts lost shape (I am over 50) and sagged. I felt neck and back soreness (not from working out) and felt as though my breasts were aging faster than the rest of me. I wanted to be comfortable and in proportion for sports, clothes, life.

I am SO HAPPY with how I look...the surgery, despite my anxiety, went well. I was back at work after a week. I was definitely tired, I felt puffy (treated with ice and ibuprofen) but not in pain. The hardest part of the surgery was not working out for 6 weeks afterward.

PS
I don't think I got a good sense of my "after" shape for 3-4 weeks after the surgery. I felt swollen, mostly under my arms and the underside of the breasts, and was worried that the doctor had not made me as small as I'd hoped. I'm now a 34C. A small C. I feel good, I look good and I am comfortable in my body.
