Hello, My name is van! And just set the date for my tummy tuck and lipo. I'm a mother of four 23,19,16,14 and yes it's my turn ! And so nervous even thou its still less than two months! Like many of you I'm tired of this belly and want to look and feel sexy again . I run almost every morning and work out but this belly won't go away. Going to sleep for surgery is my biggest fear. Well I'm so glad I found this site well the office girl Marisa where my dr office is old me about it she was so nice and supportive easy to talk to.And the Dr Silverton is awesome liked him immediately think I asked I'm to many questions thou lol!! Well looking forward to learning a lot from everyone.

Hey Van, doing really well..I have kept the silicone strips off for a few days just to have a break from them but am covering my scar with Bio Oil every couple of hours, it worked really well when I had my BA, those scars are just white now and i think my tummy scar is looking really good. I still get swelling but can see what the end result will be like because when I wake up my tummy is really flat. I have not worn tight underwear or binder for some weeks and I know that I should but for me it didn't make any difference with the swelling so I choose to be comfortable. Life is pretty much back to normal, apart from a little swelling and waiting for the scar to fade. How are you going, when is your surgery, it must be getting close..Yay!!! for you and yay!! for me, so happy I have done it already. Have you seen my pics, I update every Tuesday as that's the day I have my surgery.. Stay happy and positive..x

Glad to hear all is well .Yes my surgery is still a little over a month away Nov6 ! So just trying to get ready having mini Tt with lipo on my abs he my ps said no drains for me. Trying to stay positive and get everything done that I need to my kids are 16 and 14 and boys so really glad they are older however my daughter is 19 and had a baby girl just 3 months ago so very close to her and I won't be able to hold he for weeks after mini tt killing me:( But lucky the other care giver can help. Besides that just busy getting my supplies together eating healthy and drinking plenty of water.Take care glad you are healing well....X

Drains are very important, I had my in one in for 10 days and the other for 2 weeks and 2 days and after about a week which was week 3 I developed seroma. For some reason my body wanted to keep building fluid why I have no idea!! lol still my results are insane! I'm so happy & you will be too. Filling up with fluid is not fun than you have to have it aspirated with a needle each week but I am finally finished :) good luck with your upcoming surgery.

I hope I can sleep in my bed if not i do have a recliner . I slept in my bed with my BA and 2 revisions . Part of the reason I sleep in my bed I have a African grey parrot and he needs his sleep too .

That will be good . My Dr does assisted - lipo is the kind she does . Do u know what type of lipo your does ? I'm only supposed to get upper and lower abdominal but I'm going to ask about my flanks . I hope she says she will do them no charge .
