WORTH IT
Ever since I hit puberty at age 11 it seemed like I never had small breasts, I immediately went from being flat to having large c cups and then DDDs in only a matter of a couple years, which contributed to constantly being catcalled by older men in their cars while I would walk home after school, and I was unable to wear fitting clothes or participate in sports and running.
My posture is severely affected by the weight of my chest and I sport a neck hump because of it :(
After years of taking pain meds and attempting yoga, regular exercise, seeing a chiropractor, changing my diet with no change in size at all , and wanting a breast reduction but wasn't able to get covered, in February of this year (2018) I asked my primary care doctor about getting a reduction and was finally approved after I talked about my breathing problems and physical pain due to the weight.
My surgery date is in 3 weeks, on May 17th. I'm more excited than nervous, I've never needed or wanted anything more in my life. Will update more as my journey continues ?

Went in for surgery at 6 am, Thursday may 17th,
The procedure started around 7:30 and I was out by 12:00 pm.
Currently writing this at day 1 post op, dealing with a 7 out of 10 on the pain scale, I've got drains and a surgical bra. Will have to wear the drains for about a week. There's a definite difference, even with all the dressings and swelling my breasts are small, around the large b cup to c cup range.

God my drains removed Wednesday, May 23rd
Still sore, can't sleep on my sides but loving how small I am! I'm about a c cup and still swollen, so they'll probably be a tad smaller after full recovery.
I finally get to shower tomorrow so I'll be posting better pics then

I see you still have bandages. Are you bleeding/leaking?

I removed the bandages today, only had them on for comfort reasons, the hole on my right side where my drains went in was the only part that was leaking a bit. But today I just put a bandaid over it and it's fine. No bleeding or leaking anywhere else! I'm afraid to take the tape off though, lol
