What I wish I would've known

A lot of women ask what are things you wish you would've known or did??
Well I'll first off start with I wish I woulda been prepared for the emotional roller coaster that comes along with it..... I heard everything else under the sun.... That I may need or what may Hellen from infection to seromas to constipation....
But this has been by far the hardest emotionally, and on my husband too... I swear it's like I'm frkn pregnant all over, I cry, I laugh, I feel useless, I can't do for my kids the way I normally could... I feel defeated... I feel like I'm super woman why the hell cant I get through this??
Well I can... And I will, but it's going to take time.
Good luck
Everyday is trial and error.

Yes you will get there and I totally understand how you feel!! I felt the same way. I hate that I worry on the daily basis that I'm gonna put the weight back on.

Drains out

Definitely didn't hurt like I thought it would more of a funny feeing and some pressure like a urine catheter almost! But feel so much better know that they're gone! I'm not restricted as much and feel free. Day 7, and constipation is a mother F#€£%* just trying to push makes my stomach spasm.... I finally went today, but now that the blockage is gone I have loose stool I'm conga ctry running to the bathroom!!
ADVICE
take stool softener a week pre op and post op NEVER miss a dose.... If you don't go for more than 2 days drink milk of magnesia with tons of water...
I really wish I would've listened....

Your incisions are looking good. Think I'll take your advice. Your body was put through a lot of stress and will take it's own sweet time getting everything back in order.

Keep taking a stool softener if you are still needing pain pills
