To get it or not to get it

So last time I was at the dermatologist to get Restylane we spoke quickly about my next botox treatment. I've been scheduling them every 4 months and have been happy with the results, even though a little after the 3rd month I get some movement back. The reason for this is that I use it mostly as a preventative treatment and feeling not too stressed about the whole thing.

Anyway, he suggested either I get my next treatment 1st week of July, or I'll have to wait until he returns the end of August. I'm leaning more to the end of August- I don't have any strong movements yet, and won't mind if for a few weeks the feeling comes back. Yet he said if I want to take the preventative treatments seriously I should consider it... hmmm

The other reasons why I'm not so keen doing it earlier is that I had restylane just over a week ago and will have a BA next week, plus I've been travelling a lot the last 6 weeks for work and have also been sick, so don't want my body to have too much to deal with. I'm also considering to get botox preventatively for any crows feet and on the corners of my mouth. I don't have any crows feet yet but I do have a natural downward turning lips (guess my natural pose is grumpy, haha) so wouldn't mind correcting this. For the crows feet I always freak out a little when i see people my age with these, so I'd rather be ahead of the game then waiting until they arrive then having to do something about it.

Anyway, that's it from me for now. I'll keep you posted on what I decide.

I'm completely in love with Botox. I've been using...

I'm completely in love with Botox. I've been using it for a year now (3 treatments in total), as a preventative treatment on my frown lines and they've disappeared. I now have a much more relaxed look, less headaches because I'm not frowning as much and people are surprised when I tell them I'm 29, they always think I'm younger.

I have a few friends who are the same age/a bit older and WISH I could tell them to get Botox (but don't want to let in on my secret). They really need it... it scares me when I look at their crows feet or the wrinkles on their head, I'm so glad that it's not me :)

I have my treatments in the centre of Stockholm at the Restylane clinic (Restylane Atelier), by one of the best dermatologists in Europe. Yes, I could get the treatment for cheaper elsewhere, but it's my face! I don't want to be cheap and I trust my doctor completely. I will have Restylane under tear-ducts on Thursday with the same doctor. I will let you know how that goes.

Bottom line is that I completely recommend Botox, it's a fantastic preventative treatment and I hope that it will keep me looking younger and more refreshed for years to come. Just make sure that you choose a professional with a good reputation and don't be cheap :)
