Hey you guys ! Thursday, June 16th is my 25th birthday & I’m excited!! Next Monday the 20th is my pre opp !!! & Thursday the 23rd is my official Surgery Day (My Bday gift to MYSELF !). It’s kind of strange because I thought the nerves would have set in but it hasn’t yet. I guess that is because I was so nervous in the beginning that it would hurt so bad but I’m just looking forward to when it’s all over and I finally know what is expected. The fact that I was having something taken from me isn’t easy. Especially, the main thing that I was known for, that I could hide behind but now I’m going to be exposed and all I can think of is becoming better mentally, spiritually, and physically. So, I recently started working out again so hopefully I trim down nicely after I heal. This isn’t just a reduction for me. This is a change of who i always was and creating a new lifestyle. A healthier lifestyle.

Hey Guys! I've been big chested all my life and i really don't remember having a training bra. I pretty much went straight to Lane Bryant but I'm 5'2 and a little plush pal. I gained a lot of weight when I moved from New York to Atlanta because i went thru a really bad depression. this is my first major surgery and i'm kind of ecstatic about it. honestly it took me a long time to actually make up my mind but when i started experience back and neck pain then my right arm started getting heavy and going numb i realized it was time for me to start making healthier decisions. I got a trainer from LA Fitness and i lost 13 pounds but it got kind of expensive since i just moved my first apartment. The pain was getting so bad that i started going to the orthopedic. He looked at me and immediately told me I needed a reduction. So ! there it was ! my confirmation from the Lord above lol I went to Dr. Gross ONE TIME ! & he set up my post op. We just needed to wait to hear from my insurance (BCBS). The wait wasn't as bad but i got so nervous that the weren't going to approve me and i even heard that your boobs GROW BACK ?! i was thinking the worst I expected to get denied because I tend to freak myself out on purpose. . .don't ask me why i'm dramatic because I really don't know lol but I read that they were to send you an answer in about five weeks after your doctor's visit but in the middle of my second week I GOT APPROVED !!!!! My surgery was set for June 23 ! one week after my 25th birthday ! & I feel extremely BLESSED ! (I will post pics thru out the course of my journey)
