At age 55 I was tired of years of trying new skin care products to improve my acne scarring, brown spots from sun damage, uneven skin tone and fine lines. When Dr. Berman told me about the new PicoSure laser procedure, I decided to take a leap of faith and give it a try. I saw definite improvement after the first treatment. I have had a total of three treatments now and the difference in my skin tone is remarkable. Overall it is much more even. The brown spots are gone. The acne scars and fine lines are greatly diminished and some gone completely. I am amazed and extremely happy with the results. The only thing I would do differently, is to have the treatment without the use of numbing cream. I have very sensitive skin and the numbing cream caused me to break out. The procedure is very tolerable without any numbing, especially when the cooling fan is directed on your face.

Jackie thoroughly explained every step of the treatment and repeatedly made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. After hearing I have very sensitive skin, she made sure to use a calming lotion after the treatment. Because of my breakouts, she also used a numbing cream with fewer ingredients during my next treatment which helped. She then tried an area without any numbing cream so I could see how it felt without it. I found it very tolerable, so in the future I won't need to use the numbing cream at all.
