It's been 1 week and 1 day since surgery....and I am finaly feeling a little 'normal' again. Surgery went well.4 hours in total. I had a lot of pain the first 24 hours, then it was manageable. I wasn't ready for all the swelling in my abdomen. Tried to put on jeans today..but still too much bloating/swelling...back to yoga pants. I didn't post any pics yet...because there was nothing to see yet. My Dr is one to experiment with different treatments...so when I woke up in recovery ..my breasts were covered with purple bandages with a wound vac attached. I had to have it on for 1 week..so I didn't get to see my breasts until yesterday. The wound vac creates negative pressure to help with healing of incisions. And I do have to say they do look pretty good. I'll post the pictures that I have...

I’m so excited for you! I’m scheduled for the same procedure on 11/26. I’ve heard that pain meds aren’t even necessary for everyone! A few people have posted about the sensation being more akin to soreness than sharp pain. I’m hoping we’re both in that camp! Can’t wait to read all about your experience. Best (breast) Wishes!
