My Prayers Were Answered

So I thought I would start my profile. I have been out here for a few months trying to absorb all I can. I have decided to work toward a July 2019 date. I know I will be getting a TT for sure not sure about the lipo yet. I am 40 with one child 13 born via C-Section however my pouch did not come from the pregnancy lol. I am currently on a weight loss journey have lost 25 and looking to lose 30 more prior to sugery. Currently 184lbs. I am excited but a little nervous too about the recovery. So this is my first entry. Looking forward to documenting my journey and sharing with you all.

It wouldn't let me post before with my initial post. I posted a question and have gotten a lot of answers. It seems like it will probably be a TT with Lipo but hopefully the rest of the weight loss will minimize the lipo

I decided to go with Dr. Brian Rosett in Chicago for my ETT, MR, and Lipo to the Abdomen, Flanks, and Lower Back and I am sooo very happy I did. First of all Dr. B's beside manner is Ahmazing!! He calls personally to check on you for multiple days after the procedure, is very responsive to email and calls and truly takes time to hear your concerns and address them. His results are what drew me to him but his personality sealed the deal. I had my procedure done 6 wks ago today. Pain was nothing like I thought it would be. I did get experal. I took pain meds for 3 days amd tylenol for 2 and was done. My lower abdomen had some swelling that I was worried about. He had me come in so he could take a look and he said it would be fine just to get a compression garment. Did that and the swelling has gone down tremendously. I did lose more weight prior to surgery and have lost 10lbs since. I am loving my results so far and can't wait to see what they look like in a few months. I was super concerned with my incision being even and my belly button not looking weird. He checked the boxes for me. He set my expectation on what the back lipo could do and I think it did bwtter than he expected. It is definitely better than it was. I might get a little more done. All in all I feel like God answered my prayer when I asked him to put me in good safe hands. Midwest surgeon but Beverly Hills trained.
