15 years ago id not long finished feeding my son and well i has no breast tissue left, i was an A cup at best with lots of saggy skin. I was 20 years old and had breasts of an old lady. I decided to have breast implants 370cc over the muscle which filled the skin, ive had no problems and I've loved them. But as the years have gone on I've started to feel different about my body, i feel really top heavy, i also suffer from extreme tiredness and always feel groggy!. I decided to have them out, not replaced and a lift. I had 3 consultations and thought about it for 6 months before i made my decision, the surgeon has been brilliant, he's listened to everything I've said and supported my decision not to have the implants replaced.

Im sore and i cant see my girls properly yet because of the dressings but here they are. I've been wearing a b cup sports bra and i feel so light and free. Pain meds are helping me sleep at night. I felt super teary yesterday and today, i believe its the effects of the anesetic.
Im fed up as cant drive or lift anything, im no good at resting but this will be worth it in the end!

Hi,
I am looking at having mine out, I
Am a 350 cc I was an A cup before. I have had them in for 12 years and I am scared that they may look deformed. My Doctor said I do t need a lift, I have no breast tissue and will be flat as I lost all tissue in my breasts. Could I trouble you on knowing a little more about your experience? Warmest Regards

Hi I'm having my explant on Dec 12th .... I was very small chested 32A and I've had implants for 21 years ... I currently have 410cc .... I'm so nervous as I don't have a lot of natural breast tissue ... I'm going to wait at least 6 months before I consider a lift as PS said its safer as I have only a small amount of breast tissue ... My implants are over the muscle ... So happy for and wish the best .... Are you in the uk

Hi yes im in the UK. I had the lift done at the same time. Im really happy so far x

That's great ... My PS has advised me to wait as my breasts are literally just implants and she said it could compromise the blood flow ... I'm in Birmingham and have chosen to do explant under local .... Happy helping x

Sunny I was in the Sam boat but with 700 ccs. It took two surgeries to put me back together but I am pleased". Wishing you luck.

Thank you for sharing. I relate to your story. I’m scheduled to have my third surgery to replace implants due to scar tissue and now one is ruptured. This site has given me the courage to even entertain having them OUT, even when my Dr is advising against it..

I’m in the same boat. My Dr thinks I should replace them for a third time (because of scar tissue and not implant rupture from trying to break up the scar tissue!). After finding this site, I just want my piece of mind and to get them out, but I too struggle with the esthetics. But I feel like I would be trading my price of mind for how my breasts look. All my best to you!

I too felt that way - but I'll tell you the best shot you have at looking great without them is now. Doctors live to replace. There's a higher markup on time for them and they get perks from the implant providers. Find a doctor who does a lot of reconstruction and has an artistic side. It's a win win. It doesn't have to be one or the other. I left two surgeons office in tears when they told me I had to get smaller implants. The third one was the one who said he could fix me without them. Persistence - no need to go running around with scar tissue hardening in your body it feels so good to be free. Good luck.

Well its been a very emotional rollercoaster. I've come off my pain killers and hit a huge huge low. I've literally cried and cried and cried. Starting to feel a little more normal now but my god i don't want to feel like that again.
On the upside, dressings came off on Thursday and it all looks very neat. Cant wait until they heal properly they are very bruised. All going in the right direction thou!

Hey! Any time you're feeling like that do not be afraid to reach out for support. I don't k of what I would have done without some of the ladies I met on this site.
You're looking great! So cute healing is a process. OMG it's a process. You look great, symmetrical, both nipples in tact. It's a success. The emotional aspect should improve.you've been through a lot. Give yourself some credit. This is a scary thing to do. You did it! Your brave, fierce, beautiful and strong. Boom! Every day you will feel better.

You look amazing! I'm sorry you have been feeling down and I hope it passes soon. Reach out if you need to, I think many of us have the same feelings and from what I understand it is mostly due to the meds. You will heal beautifully.

You're looking great! Two weeks is early- I am at 6 weeks and just sort of looking almost ok. I have found being positive makes a huge difference...I was super negative for a couple weeks. But really, you have a great result:)
