SRS Labiaplasty Revision Surgery

WORTH IT
Now 1 month post op- still some swelling and bruising but rapidly improving. I'm exited to see how things will look in the next few months and can see that I already have great and promising results. (have attached photos of pre-op, 3 weeks post op, and 4 weeks post op, will follow up with more one fully healed).

It is clear to me that Dr Theerapong is very experienced, skilled at his job, and takes pride in his work. He was friendly and put me at ease, listening carefully to exactly what I wanted and being very attentive. I'm very glad that I made the decision to get the surgery with Theerapong.

Kana and the team at Interplast clinic were amazing, very friendly and welcoming, doing everything they could to make sure I was comfortable, and also very well organised too. I'm so thankfull to Kana, who speaks perfect English and was able to explain and guide me through every step of the way. She's a really lovely, chatty, an absolute gem!- and made me feel very calm and confident in what could otherwise be a scary and anxious process.

The pain was quite intense for the first week especially, but I was given good pain meds which helps alleviate this as much as possible- you just have to ride it out! no pain, no gain! :) the brief hospital stay was the most difficult part, its hard to communicate with hospital staff to ask for more pain meds, but its over pretty quickly and the staff very much try their best despite the language barrier. Best to be prepared for very little mobility for the first week especially, and make sure you are staying in an apartment with a lift, with good amenities, and especially if you are alone: preparation is key! - prepare some bottled water, food, and order some takeaways to last you the first few days and have a microwave ready- remember you wont be able to lift anything, and walking will be excruciating for a while!

I'm now back in Sydney, and the past week I have had much better mobility and much less pain. I stayed for 3 weeks post op in bangkok- I wish I'd stayed an extra week, as it was only really the last 3/4 days that I felt well enough to be able to see sights, visit temples, museums, etc. Thailand is a lovely country and I felt very safe, much more-so than the UK/France where I'm originally from. People are very friendly and its pretty safe to walk around town alone as a woman compared to most countries. Food is amazing, the weather is consistently balmy, and the people are lovely.

I'd strongly recommend to anyone thinking of traveling from abroad, the quality of the surgery that I received was much better than my original surgery and quality of care back in the UK. My advice would be: don't let western doctors try to scare you off- its just discrimination and small mindedness, Thailand provides top quality care, and Dr. Theerapong is very good at what he does.

Overall, very happy and looking forwards to seeing the finished results! :)

Thanks again to Kana for all the help! <3
