semi permanent make is a common procedure and if carried out correctly can improve your look.

i had it done 5 years ago by moya wren in glasgow, who hit the bone at the end of my eye to cause black and blue eyes, when this faded i was left with blue pigment under the eye. i have tried to have it removed with laser but this has not been successful and i am still left with this very blue colour under my eyes.

i was a confident person until now , i have to wear a heavy make around the eye to try and conceal this , it has changed my overall appearance .i wish i had never had it done.
i am disfigured for life as nothing else can be done.
Anyone having this done should do their home work on the practitioner to make sure the have all the qualification and insurance in place .

Hi there, I am so sorry to hear about your experience. The terminology for your occurrence is called a "Blow out". This happens when the tech holds the machine at too sharp an angle and literally blows pigment into the surrounding area, much like a puddle. When performing eyeliner, the machine must be kept perpendicular to the skin, or this can and often times does happen. Lack of experience is usually the culprit. And you are correct that very little can be done since it's so disbursed into the skin. There is something that may work for you, but you must approach this idea by first finding someone who is confident they can work conservatively toward the goal of camouflaging the pigment. It would be to add a light layer of camouflage pigment over the dark area with hopes that it will conceal the dark pigment adequately. You can never take sun on your face, for this area will NOT tan, it's a tattoo now. The rest of your face will tan, while this area will remain light. The pigment would be placed in the upper portion of the dermis, "hovering" on top of the dark. Again, I cannot stress enough that not just anyone can perform this procedure. It goes against all rules of tattooing. No PMU Artist should ever try to correct their mistakes with flesh colored pigments, but in this case it's the only technique that will camouflage what happened to you, and even still it may not be perfect.

thanks for your feed back it means alot to me that at least i am able to get my story out to some people, .There is a written agreement between myself and Moya Wren saying she would pay me a 1000 pounds for every year i am disfigured, but she is now saying she has no money so the agreement was not up held, this woman is still working and i know she is busy, but there is nothing i can do about this as i cant prove she has money.. thanks, Sandra Hughes , SCOTLAND

I had my eyebrows tattooed on by Moya Wren 2 years ago and have HATED them ever since, i cry most mornings as it takes me so long to try to cover them with various concealers then pencil on my eyebrows on top. They are very large and do not match, infact they are completely different in shade and size. They have also faded to a blue/grey colour. I too was a very confident person before but the TERRIBLE job Moya has made of my eyebrows has completely destroyed my confidence. I have refused to be seen without my make up on by ANYONE since having them done. I hope this review will change anyones mind who is considering going to Moya Wren for Semi-permanent make up!!

Absolutely do not add any camo color over top of the blow out blueish color under you eyes!!!! I will use the analogy that works best...you are just spraying perfume on poop. You can make a bigger mess out of it...believe me when I tell you...throwing paper towels and perfume over top of poop does not clean up the mess..it just adds to it. You may be able to laser some of it...

Thank you for sharing this info Perm Cos by Theresa. I just had my eyeliner done & don't like it. I'm trying to research options, and am considering camo as a correction. I appreciate your input.

I read your realself story and my heart is heavy. I feel your grief. I have had grief with my permanent eyebrows but it is resolved although I still have to correct a mistake every morning. It has taught me a valuable lesson. Cosmetic procedures are risky and we must research and ask questions and not be quick to proceed. Even though reviews can be confusing we must read them and consider the risk to reward ratio. I had a "gut" feeling the day I went and I didn't listen to it. I trusted someone and now I detest her. She was actually a nice person but should not be in the business of permanent makeup. Sheila Bella in North Hollywood of California. Stay away from her!!!
