So jealous, so impressed! At 66 that was quite a decision to take, so well worth it. What was the initial reaction of your surgeon when you first saw her, is age a factor or is it general good health - and what constitutes that as the years pass? I am the same age as you, would love to find the courage and appreciate feedback particularly pre op.

Hello. Yes, it was something I had wanted for so long. Life is short. My surgeon was encouraging. Told me that I would look 1000 times better. Age doesn't seem to be a factor. My surgery was scheduled for 7:30. I was planning to be home by noon! I was home a little after 1:00pm. As far as recovery, it was a breeze for me. Tightness, swelling, yes. But as for real pain, not really. I bought no equipment or special supplies. I just took my time. If this is something you really want, then go for it!! We only live once.

Lol......I used to call mine " my fat smile". It was a big smile of fat hanging off the bottom of my stomach! Goodbye and good riddance!

4 WEEKS POST OP TODAY!!

I thought I would write a quick update. Everything is going great. Less swelling. Swelling is mostly along my pubic area...just gravity. Still tight. Standing straight. Walking 4-5 mi per day. I still can't believe it's me!! Best thing ever. Very happy with the results.
