WORTH IT$6,100
Its been awhile since I've been on here. Decided I needed to do an update. Its been 3 months since I had my surgery. I'm still swelling, but also seeing changes. I've been working out as well. Still not where I want to be but I'm getting there!

Had my 6 week po today and he said at this point I can do whatever I want...swim, exercise, lift weights.yay!!!! He did say I was still swollen and that I will get flatter and the the scar will drop lower in time. I asked why he went so far around and he said it was because of excess skin and that if he had not I would have had dog ears and the whole procedure would not have been worth it, I've seen those and no I wouldn't want those! I knew all if this but its just nicebto be reassured. I happy enough with that answer. I have to start massaging my scar and can use scar cream, any recommendations and good but inexpensive?

I am using Mederma for scar treatment. My PS actually told me to just use lotion, but ummmm ...no...I want this scar to be barely visible lol. I purchased from Wal-Mart for about $17.00...so far so good. When you first start to use it, it makes your skin feel tight.

My doc actually said mederma, then he said it don't matter so much what you use as long as you are massaging it....but mederma it is!!! Thank You!

6ish week po
crossfitmom0317July 4, 2015
Little over 6 weeks po now and I am still swollen or at least I better be lol. I do like my results so far, but I am no where near as flash as I think I should be. My 6 week po is Wednesday so hopefully he will put my mind at ease with that and with a few other things. The one thing I am most happy with is my bellybutton. It is a little small like I can't hardly put my pinky in it but I contribute that to the swelling. Other than that it looks like a real bellybutton and that that's where its always been.

You look great! I am also about 6 weeks and I am swelling greatly too. It's been like this for almost 2 weeks. I think I am going to see the PS this week too to make sure there is no fluid build up. Ate you still wearing your CGs?

Thank you! You look great to! I shed my abdominal binder at 4 weeks and did not wear a compression garment, did not feel like I needed to.

I tried to give up mines too, but it felt uncomfortable. I cannot wait to ditch mines lol

You look like you are swollen, that's all! I know it's a pain, but you will be in looove once your belly is flat! :)

I sure hope so. Right now I'm in a love/hate relationship with it lol. I hear that's pretty normal though!

It is! My belly is pretty flat now, but my sides and back are still swollen, where I had liposuction. I think the liposuction is what really slows down the results during recovery! Hang in there!!!
