This week has been really good. I have a couple of concerns, one bring the right sidea t-junction. It is having an issue completely closing, is still has a hole that is about the size of a pencil head. And the other is the thickness of the scar on the left. It feels way thicker than the other scars. I'm concerned that it will not allow the breast to round out around the bottom. I'll see what it does over the next couple of months though and if it doesn't thin out I'll talk to my PS to see what needs to be done with it.

This past week has been the best yet. Outside of some zings here and there it has been great. I saw my PS last Tuesday and he said to start massaging them to help reduce what's left of the swelling and to help flatten out the scars. He also told me to go ahead and start wearing underwire bras to kept the "girls" looking good. So after going and getting fitted I am very happy to report I am a C! I am beyond excited about that, on top off that I haven't had to put the girls back in place, they just stay put! I can't remember a time when I didn't have to reach in and pull the back into place several times a day. I am so happy I finally went and had the reduction done. It has been so worth it!

So happy for you! Your surgeon did a fabulous job! I am 4 weeks po tomorrow and have to admit its been tough going so far but im looking forward to feeling much better over the next week or so :-) 5 weeks seems to be the magic number from alot of reviews I have read. Thanks for your update, it has helped me keep positive! Happy healing xx

You look great ! May I ask how much he took from each side to get you to a C? Am awaiting a surgery date and this has been the biggest hesitation for me- the size. My PS wont commit to a size and I will be so depressed if I just go down one cup size. Best of luck with your healing!

He took about 550 grams from each side. He also would not commit to a size other than saying he would do his best to get me where I wanted to be. This surgery has been so worth it! It is so nice to feel like I've wanted to for the last 20+ years

This week has been good except for I think I've got the beginning of an infection starting on the right side t-junction. I noticed yellow drainage on Saturday night in my bra so I immediately cleaned it and put antibiotic ointment on it. The drainage has stopped but I can see what looks to be a small pocket of puss right at that junction. Im going to continue with the ointment until I see my doctor tomorrow morning. Hopefully keeping it clean and covered will get it bank on track. On a really positive note I tried my old bra on this morning and it is huge! I am absolutely overjoyed about that! I feel a little better everyday now so I think I have turned a good corner in this recovery process.

Haha good riddance to your old bra. I wish you continued healing, happiness, and lots of well-fitted clothes ;-)
